Just need a confidence boost
So here's my story- About a year ago I started a low carb, high protein diet. I went from 189 to 151 at my lowest. After my bachelorette party to my wedding I put on about 9lbs. It was hard to not drink and eat with all these celebrations going on. In the month that I've been married I have been back on my diet, I am at…

I'm at a loss
I'm 31, 5"5 and about 170lbs. I am currently eating 5 small meals/day consisting of limited carbs and high protein. I am working out around 3x/week with lifting and cardio each time. I can't lose weight! I eat anywhere from 1200-1600 cal/day and according to my fit bit, I burn around 2500 total each day. I don't get it.…

slow and steady vs fast and furious
Ive recently been basically going full throttle at the gym and have been burning 1000 cals in 90 mins. Im following my diet and drinking tons of water but my weight loss isnt where I'd like it to be. Would you suggest keeping my heart rate lower and still buring the same number of cals or going hardcore as I have been?…

Newly engaged but (still) lacking motivation!
I was using MFP religiously for 2 months and lost 12 pounds. I was doing great unti we had people staying with us for 2 weeks and of course it consisted of going out, drinking, etc. I ended up back where I started. As of last week, I am engaged (YEAH!!) but I still cannot find motivation to get back on track. Anyone have…

Motivation please
Ive been using this site for 40 days now. I had 2 days of slipping hard core but other than that I've stayed under my caolories and have worked out basically every day. I also drink tons of water. I lost weight (about 12 lbs) at first, then after my cheat days I gained a few back. Even after going back to being strict…

To run, or not to run
This may be a weird question- I walk every day for an hour buring around 325 calories. Lately I have had the urge to try running however, last time I did that I gained weight. As much as it shouldnt, the number on the scale is very important to me and seems to go down the most when i walk. I know that muscles weighs more…

I don't get water weight
I have been on MFP for 10 days and have lost 3 lbs. I weigh myself everyday to keep a tally of how I' m doing. I drank more water yesterday than normal (lots more) and kept my diet as planned but I gained .6 lbs. How do I keep this water weight off?

How much and how fast?
I have been following the plan- I eat my calories each day (healthy ones) and I work out. I will say that I am proud of myself because after 8 days of doing this I am down 3.5 lbs. Nothing fancy but it's a start. I have about 50lbs total to lose. Any advice from anyone out there?
