Just need a confidence boost

So here's my story-

About a year ago I started a low carb, high protein diet. I went from 189 to 151 at my lowest. After my bachelorette party to my wedding I put on about 9lbs. It was hard to not drink and eat with all these celebrations going on.

In the month that I've been married I have been back on my diet, I am at about 165. At least I was this morning.

I am so incredibly frustrated. I went for a 12 mile walk yesterday and I somehow gained weight. My doctor told me to keep my heart rate down to burn fat so I only walk.

Everyday I fight an internal battle with what to eat and what not to eat but I can't keep doing this is I'm eating right and not seeing results anymore. I don't know what changed.

you know what boosts my confidence? working out. going a little longer or a little harder than yesterday.

don't listen to your doctor. i mean, 90% of the time, yes. but i've found the whole "heart rate zones" to not be super effective, not in the beginning at least. yeah, sometimes i go out on my bike and i'm supposed to do a 2 hour ride, so i need to stay in zone 2, just because i can't sustain a higher heart rate for that long. short runs and rides, i go into zone 4-5.

Eat in a way that you can sustain your entire life, including celebrations and other social things like that.

Also, inconsistent logging, missed days, appears to be extremely low calorie (if the days that appear to be accurately logged really are).

You don't need a gimmicky diet, nor do you need to restrict foods. You are complicating the process.

I have the same problem. I have great weeks, and weeks that I think are great and I stay the same. One thing to remember is if you're eating healthy, and getting out and moving, you will lose.

I am beyond frustrated today, but I have 60+ more pounds to drop, and I know I'm going to plateau for possibly weeks at a time. DON'T GIVE UP!

Looking at your diary, you seem to not being very consistent with your logging and when you do log, you don't hit your protein goals.
