Quitting Topamax
I tried searching the topics for Topamax but didn't find any thing that really helped me with my question. I started Topamax over 2 years ago for my migraines. i weighed 130. I'm down to 114. My lowest was actually 104. I'm 5'4". I'm thinking of talking with my doctor on Thursday about getting off the topamax, apart from…

Candy bars
Every so often, at work, I get exhausted, and then I want nothing more than candy to wake me up. I end up eating several like 5 to 6 candy bars. and I've also been doing this at home too. Especially after a nap. It seems the tiredness is a coorelation with the binging. I try to get adequate sleep. Last night I want to bed…

Sugar Issues
For a while now, i've been having crazy sugar binges. I think some would be aghast. I've been trying to read for, not diets, but ways of eating. Throughout the day, I may be really good, eating salads, veggies, fruits, yogurt, nuts. But at the end of the day it's like a whole other me. Does anyone have any suggestions for…

Exercise + Eating
I am not sure where to put this, so I may just put this here in exercise. I'm still on a journey to having a healthy, fit body, so I have lots of questions, as always. I have done scooby's calculator to find that a woman around 120, my age, 5'4", will have a TDEE of 2000 calories, roughly, at moderate exercise 3-5 hours a…

Eating + Exercise
Hello I was referred that maybe this group could help me answer what I'm looking for. I'm still on a journey to having a healthy, fit body, so I have lots of questions, as always. (I'm on trying to bulk, but I do want to strengthen up certain areas, and maybe cut down on fat in the slightest) I have done scooby's…

Stomach Size
I recently stopped a medication that controlled my eating. As a result, I'm eating more! While some may be thrilled, I've noticed an increase in my stomach (it looks soo much softer/rounder than before), and my thighs have also felt tighter in my jeans. I am okay with gaining a few lbs, but I just want to make sure I still…

Quit Topamax and the hunger keeps rising
Hello everyone, I quit topamax, because I thought i could control my weight/eating without. Boy was I wrong. The moderation has gone out the door. There are times where I eat something, and then my stomach just feels like it needs more. I don't have any satisfaction. I'm not going to sit there and say the weight is piling…

Granola Bars are evil
I recently posted in here about my fear of eating bad because of vacation and celebration, and how i thought it'd change because i'd be back and I'd be better. I come back, and I do exercise, but now i'm still eating like crap. What's worse...I'm eating a ton of granola bars on top of my already allotted for the day.…

Slightly Confused
I'm in between the wondering whether I should maintain at 114-115 at 5'4" or go to 120-130 lbs at 5'4". I got down to this weight and I feel like i look amazing, I rollerblade alot, but I also feel like i have to be so. darn. careful. of. what. I. eat. Since I'm so short and everything. I'm also wondering if I go up to 120…

One "bad" month
Hello! I've been busy this past month with a few celebrations and out of town things. I'd have to say that while I always want to try my best in eating within my limits and exercising, it doesn't work; especially on vacation where things aren't always "in my control". My question is, within this month, should i be totally…

Machines and calories
I know this has been asked...but i was curious because I had the option of posting this on the elliptical today at the gym. I entered 116 lbs/26 yrs age for the ellipitical/stride machine and it said I did 300 calories/30 minutes. Does this seem outrageous or slightly accurate. I have no HRM. Thank you in advance!

Body Image
I'm 5'4" and currently weigh about 114 lbs. I do my exercise ( rollerblading, jogging, or hiking). I used to weigh 130 lbs. by the time to get 114 lbs I developed a body image concern. I had to have the "flat belly". The concern of being thin. I've been told I should gain weight (by my mom). I've seen athletic women who…

Getting hungry on TDEE
Hello all. I looked up the TDEE diet, because I do a lot of exercise, and eating back calories wasn't doing it. I figured with moderate exercise (I either jog 30 minutes or rollerblade for an hour, or now I may pick up light cycling for an hour too) 3-5 times a week that my TDEE should be about 2050 (I'm maintaining). But…

Exercising early in the morning
I have to exercise in the morning, because it's getting way too hot here in Arizona. I have some constraints because of work at the moment though, like having to be back by 5:00 to get ready. I'd prefer at least an hour of rollerblading, but getting up at 4:00 to want to go rollerblading seems exhausting. Are there…

Periods and Binging
My apologies if this has been posted before, I can't exactly find what I'm looking for. I've been noticing that now that I have my cycle regulated again, when I have my period (like right now), there will be a couple of days where I just binge. I want to say I can help it, and I should start controlling what I eat, and for…

trying to gain weight
Hi i need some help/input. I'm trying to gain weight, 0.5lbs/week, but was wondering in the beginning, will my weight be a bit off as I adjust to eating? Because in 3 days i'm 2 lbs more prior to my starting weight. I try to eat healthy, and I exercise (Rollerblading), but also, i'm not sure how accurate MFP is and I don't…

Gaining weight question
I’m 5’4” and was at 112 lbs. my doctor determined that I should be 125 lbs. I’m trying to increase to 115 lbs for now, and I work out by rollerblading 4-5 days per week, at least 8 in one hour (I used to figure skate/play hockey). I’m on a medication that makes it a little hard to eat a lot; sometimes I don’t feel as…

To any rollerbladers
My exercise of choice is rollerblading. when I put it off, I fall into a slump where I don't eat, and end up losing weight (one med makes me not hungry). if I rollerblade, due to my history of skating, i can usually go for an hour or 2, up to 10 miles or more, and I average 8-10 mph. I am ravished the day after exercise.…
