trying to gain weight

Hi i need some help/input. I'm trying to gain weight, 0.5lbs/week, but was wondering in the beginning, will my weight be a bit off as I adjust to eating? Because in 3 days i'm 2 lbs more prior to my starting weight.
I try to eat healthy, and I exercise (Rollerblading), but also, i'm not sure how accurate MFP is and I don't use an HRM.
any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just eat a little more than you are now and monitor your weight. 1/2 lb a week is pretty easy and a good excuse for some rocky road ice cream.0

lol thanks i appreciate it. I assume the first few days may be deceiving.0

Yes, especially if you were restricting before - you're going to be holding a teeny bit of extra body and a lot of extra water. Give it 2-4 weeks and readjust if it seems like you're gaining way too fast or slowly, or 4-8 weeks if you seem pretty close to what you expect.0
