Your best peaches recipes?
I have a bunch of peaches picked today, which should be good to eat in a few days... but I need recipes! I was thinking pie or cobbler or something at least but there are too many recipes out there... Any favorite? Doesn't have to be low calorie or anything, although obviously if you know a delicious low calorie recipe, it…

The one fantastic change about MFP...
Every entry that came in ounces now comes in grams also by default if you check the options. I'm overjoyed about this.

Quest sea salt caramel powder?
Any feedback? Good recipes? I'm almost out of protein powder and need a change.

The database is ridiculous
So I was just logging spinach, found a verified entry for the brand I am using, scrolled down the options to see if there was an entry in grams... found fluid ounces. For spinach. I'm seriously shaking my head here. As if not finding a teaspoon entry for olive oil wasn't bad enough.

Light moussaka
Got this idea when asking for eggplant recipes a couple days ago, and it turned out really well. 1 medium eggplant (mine turned out 504g) 1/2 pound lean ground beef (I used 92%) 1 onion 8oz tomato sauce Oregano Feta and parmesan, to taste (I used 7g of parmesan and 16g of feta) Olive oil spray Preheat oven to 450, spray a…

Eggplant recipe?
Eggplants were cheap at the store so I bought one. I have no idea what to do with it. It's just an average size eggplant. Ideas?

Vacation rant
Day 3 into my vacation and I'm over it! Mediocre breakfast without low calorie and filling options, so I eat too much crap food because I'm starving... Spending too much time finding a restaurant that, if I'm lucky, have side salads instead of fries (already so sick of side salads) and more than burgers, sandwiches and…

How in the world do you cook hash browns?
I've been buying some but I'm awful at cooking them. I use 1 tsp of oil for about 1.5 serving, but they always end up half burned, half undercooked, and not crispy at all. The directions say to 'flip them' after 5-10 minutes on one side but there's no integrity whatsoever so I can't just 'flip them'. What am I missing?

Picnic?
We're planning a hike and a picnic on July 4th. I like the idea because at least I'll have control over what I pack, unfortunately I've been in a food rut and nothing really sounds appealing, sandwiches typically don't fill me up, I don't like canned tuna, so I have absolutely no idea what to pack. Any ideas? We can use…

Boston/Cape Cod restaurant recommendations?
We'll be there for a few days in 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendation of places to eat? For Boston we're going to do the Freedom trail, probably the kids museum and the aquarium and the duck tours (maybe the science museum), so something around there would be great... For Cape Cod we'll be in Falmouth…

Favorite chocolate cake recipe?

Always getting hurt and frustrated
Has it happened to anyone else? I'm not a workout nuts, I mean, I don't like rest days, but most of my exercise is walks 4-5x a week (either 3.5 mile walk in the neighborhood, or treadmill at the gym 3.5 mph at 7 to 10% incline), Les Mills Combat at home 3x a week, some exercise bikes (10-12 miles once a week) and heavy…

No bake Ricotta strawberry icebox cake
This is a delicious and filling way to get your cake fix... I found a recipe online for no bake icebox cakes and replaced the whipping cream by ricotta to make it more filling. It makes a great breakfast too. 2 sheets of graham crackers (might use less) 1/2 cup Part skim ricotta (124g) 1 tsp of honey 1/4 tsp of vanilla…

California roll salad, less than 330 calories
Got to share this, it was huge, delicious and very filling, for the same calories as a California roll. In a bowl chop and mix 120g of lettuce 20g of grated carrots 70g cucumber, peeled 60g avocado 84g cooked rice, room temperature 85g imitation crab Dressing Mix 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1.5 tsp soy sauce The only issue is that…

10 pounds of strawberries... recipes?
We went strawberry picking this morning and, well, we might have overdone it slightly. We're making a trifle for a potluck tomorrow, but will probably be left with 8 pounds or something... So, um, any recipe recommendations?

Worried I'll regain every time I slip up...
I swear I must have issues... but I gained a pound in the last 2 month (comparing my lowest this month to my lowest two months ago), even though I had enough deficit to lose 2 pounds the month before that... I know it's mostly because I always end up overeating during PMS week because I'm just so hungry, which means I have…

Muscle cramps
This is getting ridiculous... I can't do any kind of crunches and even sometimes if I bend over, my abs cramp up. That started months ago. So I mostly work my abs lifting and doing Les Mills Combat. And now it's my legs! I mean, sure, I work my legs a lot (swift walks, often at an incline, cycling, Combat), but I didn't do…

Non refrigerated lunch for kids who don't like nut butter?
Drawing a blank there. Need to pack lunch for my kids for a field trip tomorrow and I can't use an ice pack because it has to be disposable... but they don't like nut butters... Any idea? It will be 4 hours or so before they eat it.

Cardio progress and diminishing returns
I've noticed something with cardio... it seems the more progress I make, the harder it is, the less difference it makes. For example... I use a stationary bike, typically for 45 minutes. I used to do 10 miles in that time, burning 180 calories (HRM). Now I do 12 miles, and I burn 200 calories... so 20% more effort, but I…

Veggies make me feel bloated, not full...
I eat a lot of veggies. But lately they don't seem to make me full as much as horribly bloated... and I still feel kinda hungry. Does it happen to anyone else? I'm starting to think that maybe all that fiber is just not helping that much...

This is why I weigh packaged food!
I'm more and more amazed every time I do it... Today so far - a bagel from Trader Joe's. Serving size is 85g, my bagel weighed 98g = 35 more calories. A snack from Graze - serving size is 40g, it weighed 45g (surprisingly low difference for Graze) = 28 more calories. So that's 63 extra calories just this morning. I'm not…

Frozen yogurt...
Has anyone ever found a frozen yogurt that is actually good? I'm asking because I went to Pinkberry a couple months back and it was such a waste of calories... Now I'm seriously reluctant to get frozen yogurt pretty much anywhere. Although Let's Yo was decent... if I remember well... but I had so many toppings that I don't…

Soup... weight or volume?
I'm having soup, a serving is 1 cup (245g). The can says there are two servings, but it weighed 395g total... What do you log, 1.61 serving, or 2? It's tomato soup with veggies/noodles... it's a 40 calories difference.
