What is considered "uphill"?
When logging on MFP for "walking @ 3.5 uphill", what is considered "uphill"? My treadmill only goes up to 10, so what incline would be considered uphill?

Trampoline-Good workout?
Recently we bought a trampoline for our kids. My daughter and I jumped for about 5 hours on Sunday, a few hours on Monday, and about an hour yesterday. I've noticed that my body is really sore afterward and the next day. I'm wondering, is jumping on the trampoline good cardio? Does anyone know how many calories you burn on…

Protein bars and shakes
Can someone give me the lowdown on protein bars and shakes (like the whey powder). I was at the grocery store the other day and I was going to pick up some protein bars but after looking at them, almost all of them were loaded with sugar. I didn't know if that was ok or not so I didn't pick any up. I also want to get some…

Question about slimfast shakes
Hey all, this question is actually for my dad. He started MFP a few weeks ago and has been doing great. He was drinking a slimfast shake in the morning up until this week. He decided to switch it up and try these Emerald Breakfast on the go packs. Since he's been eating them, he's not losing as much weight as he did with…

Tightness?
Hey everyone! I've been doing great with my workouts and am really enjoying them. I mix things up everyday. My problem is every time I run on the treadmill, when I get off to stretch my legs are really tight. I can normally touch my toes after every other workout, but it's seriously painful when I try to stretch that far…

Jillian Michaels question
I started the 30 day shred yesterday and I'm wondering if I'm suppose to do it everyday? I was planning on alternating 30 day shred with yoga meltdown or shred it with weights. I also do cardio on my treadmill for an hour at night. I want great results, so I'm willing to do it everyday if that's what's best.

Sugar from fruits and veggies
So I'm looking at my food diary and I'm about -16 in the sugar column. I have only had 13g. from non-fruits/veggies. All my other sugar is coming from fruits and veggies. Is this ok? I kind of panic a bit when I see that number go into the red, but I know I'm eating pretty well so idk if I should let it get to me. What do…

Chinese Food
Ok, so tonight is my cheat meal. We are planning on ordering chinese food. I would like to enjoy my food, but I don't want to go overboard. I'm thinking the chicken and broccoli and brown rice. I'll split it in half when it get's here and save the rest for tomorrow or later in the week. Would this throw me off or is this a…

How much cardio?
How much cardio do you do per day? How many days a week? I'm trying to come up with a workout plan for the week and I'm curious what others are doing.

Flexibility
Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well on your weight loss journey. My question is about flexibility. I have none. I can touch my toes when I stretch, but that's pretty much the extent of it. I'm looking for some exercises that will help improve my flexibility. I've heard that yoga helps and possibly pilates. Does anyone…

Do I really HAVE to jog?
I hate jogging/running. I'd much rather walk. Today I walked on the treadmill at 3.5 with a 5.0 incline for 45 minutes and sweated my butt off. I don't mind it taking extra time to burn the same amount of calories, I have the time. So, my question is, does it really make a difference? If I really dislike jogging, am I…

Feeling drained
Does anyone else feel this way sometimes? I do 30 minutes to an hour of cardio in the morning, take care of the kids all day, then do another hour of cardio and weights at night. I haven't taken an official "rest" day for over a week and I'm just drained. I'm staying within my calorie limit (1200), taking my multi-vitamin,…
