Anyone else? I'm just not sure if I should log uphill or just log walking 3.5.

lol, true

Thanks. I know he's been doing really well with his calories and such. He was just curious about the slimfast shakes helping him lose weight faster.

30 day shred is a great workout, but I cannot stand her voice. Shred it with weights is my favorite because her voice just seems softer.
-
Ooh, I love yoga meltdown. I honestly can't stand her in 30 day shred but I love her in shred it with weights.
-
Obviously not enough otherwise I'd look like Jennifer Aniston. :ohwell:
-
Thanks everyone. I notice when I incline walk on the treadmill, I'm fine after. When I do C25K or a Jillian Michael DVD my legs are really tight and sore.

I used to have a gym membership but was always so freaked out by people looking at me work out. Thankfully I now have my own treadmill. I do some strange things when I'm working out that I don't think people would want to see. If a good song comes on my playlist, I bust out in dance, I sing, I talk to myself, I skip lol, I…

Well darn, I just realized the 30 day shred isn't on on demand anymore and I have no clue where my dvd is. I went ahead and did shred it with weight (also On Demand) and it was awesome!! I think I like shred it with weights more than 30 day shred. I'm just trying to figure out how to log it.

I tried shred it with weights level one on Saturday and I was still sore on Monday. It seemed pretty easy the first 10 minutes, but I was pretty tired by the end. Good Luck!

Awesome, I'm going to look at gnc.com. I couldn't believe how high in sugar the protein bars were though. I thought they were suppose to be "healthy" for you?
-
Yea, I need to limit my fruit intake. I just L.O.V.E. fruit lol.

I agree. I'm a stay at home mom too and I did this while my son was napping. It's quick, it's intense, and it doesn't take all of my son's nap time so I still have time to relax or get chores done.
-
I'm starting today as soon as the baby goes down for a nap. I did her shred it with weights on On Demand with a kettlebell the other day and it was brutal. At first I thought I would be fine and maybe I needed to buy a heavier kettlebell, but about 15 minutes through I thought for sure I was going to die. Good Luck…

Nope, it's steamed. It was delicious too! I still have 400 calories left after dinner and am under sodium still so I'm super excited. It wasn't really a "cheat" meal after all.
-
I freaking love fried rice, but I'm going to get brown rice this time. That's a CRAZY amount of calories just for rice. Totally not worth it to me.
-
Yay! Now I'm excited. I haven't had chinese in a while, but I'm determined to stay on this healthy track and not go overboard.
-
Wow, ok I think I might be WAY overdoing it. Right now I'm doing 90-120 minutes a day 6 days a week. I don't run/jog, I just do interval training on the treadmill.
-
Thanks everyone. I'm going to keep with my incline walking and maybe throwing in an exercise video here and there.
-
I don't have a heart rate monitor, but my shirt was soaked by the time I was done, so I'm assuming I was working hard enough. I just flat out do not like to run. I notice when I walk, it seems the time passes quickly and I push myself harder. Thanks for the replies, so glad it's not necessary.

I like angry break up songs even though I'm happily married.
-
I don't have a motivational story, but just want you to know you're not alone. Good luck! The before and after pics always inspire me.
-
I know my body needs rest, but it's so hard not to just keep pushing through. I'm going to take a break...but I'm not happy about it. lol
-
Thank you for all your help. I'll work on the breakfast.

I only burn 500-600 a day with my cardio. I do C25K every other morning and then a brisk walk on an incline at night. I've been mostly eating them, but sometimes I'm just flat out not hungry. I'm struggling getting in a lot of calories for breakfast. I'm not a breakfast person, so I usually eat a fiber one bar and a piece…
-
Actually, no. I only got 4 hours on Monday and maybe 5-6 last night. I haven't been able to fall asleep quickly at night and my 11 month old likes to get up at 6:30 :grumble:
-
I agree I should cut back a bit. I went from being a couch potato to exercising 120 minutes a day, every day. I've been eating most of my exercise calories back, but not all because I'm not sure if MFP is completely accurate.
-
I may try to get in 30 minutes of cardio tonight when I'm hopefully feeling a little better. I'm usually able to just push through and get it done, but today I'm just exhausted (and super cranky). I'm drinking tons of water. I usually have 100-120 oz a day, so that's not hard for me. Glad to know I'm not alone though

I work out twice a day. I'm a SAHM to 2 small children, so I have to work around their sleep schedule. I work out for a half hour to an hour in the morning during the baby takes a nap. Then I work out for an hour after dinner when the baby goes to bed and my husband plays with my daughter.
-
So I wonder how often we should change up our workout routines? I'm doing a "day 1, day 2" plan, but I'm sure my body will get used to it eventually. Thanks for posting this.
