Hello, MFP world! I am thinking about investing in a hand blender - I will be using Amazon.com to buy one. Which one should I go with to make smoothies and soups? So far, I am leaning toward Cuisinart CSB-76BC SmartStick or Proctor-Silex 59738 Hand Blender. Thanks for the help :) Jen

body fat scale and/or hrm investment
Should I get a HRM or body fat scale? Or neither? My goal is to lower my body fat. I'm not sure how accurate the scales are. As for the HRM, I want to know how many calories I'm actually burning instead of relying on mfp calculations or the machine.

What's up MFP! I started weight lifting a month ago. I'm starting to get callous' on my palms. Can anyone recommend any gloves? Preferably for women and under $40 - give or take. :)

nut diet
Alright, I've had 3 cashews binges this week. I would eat 1000-1700 calories worth of cashews and I would go over my daily caloric intake by 200. I'm trying to lower my BF so my abs would be visible. Does this set me back by a lot? Also, any tips to rid of cashews binge. :)

Cheese
I have yet to find a cheese that is low in fat and calories per serving with an ingredient list with little to no processed ingredients. Recommendations? Also, laughing cow cheese wedges: nutritionally good or bad? Currently, I consume Sargento Ultra Thin cheese slice. (40 cal 3.3g fat/slice).

Pre-workout Snack
Should I eat carbs before a workout? I have been, but my nutrition professor recommends not to eat anything 30 minutes prior to an aerobic workout.
