Sprint Triathlon and bike
So... last year one of my coworkers was trying to sell me on doing sprint triathlon. I thought the idea was kinda cool. But, my questions are this: #1 - do you have to have a special kinda bike? #2 - if I'm not super fast at swimming, biking or running, is it more for the experience than time?

Confused about fat burning cardio...
Ok... so if my primary goal is to BURN FAT, is it better to do an Insanity type program or a body combat type program? (or any other suggestions welcome) If it matters, I'm 37, 5'2, 150. I want to be about 135. My weight/fat is primarily in my stomach. I do weights M/W/F and Cardio T/Th/Sa Thanks :)

How long did it take to get your dose right?
I am on the 2nd level of meds. Started my levothyroxine at .025, now at .05. Go back in 6 weeks. In the 6 weeks that I was on the .025 my numbers went UP. How many different dosages did you have to try before they got it right?

Can ANYONE run fast?
So... I'm just curious what you think... can anyone run and train enough to run 6-7 minute miles? I am currently rocking a 12 minute mile. On good days I might be able to do A (just one mind you) 10 minute mile. I just can't even fathom the idea of being able to run a 7-8 minute mile.

How many goals have you set and missed?
I find myself looking at calendars where I had my goal weight tracked each week, and finding that I missed it and am exactly where I was at the beginning. I've done this AT LEAST 3 times. Realizing.... I just wasted 3 months, 6 months, and am exactly where I was when i started....
