Endo Diet
Is anyone here following the endo diet? I've been doing it for the last 3-4 weeks, and I have actually noticed a consistent difference in my daily pain. Before I started following the diet, I was sluggish, bloated, constantly had digestive issues, and had developed some really bad new pain. Fast forward 3-4 weeks later and…

Endometriosis
Hi, I'd love to connect with other users who have endometriosis! Anyone? I can't be the only one here, or at least I hope not. Having endometriosis makes fitness a lot harder, and it would be awesome to connect with other sufferers and swap advice. Cheers! Cher

Going over protein?
Is it bad to go over your protein limit? This has been happening the last couple of days. I'm not going over by much (less than 10) but I'm not sure how this will effect me. Any ideas? Any suggestions about healthy, lower-protein food I can eat to help me get through the day?

Feeling down :(
So I had to take a break from working out (health-related) and that lead to not watching what I was eating any more. Yes, I fell off the fitnesspal wagon. Boo. Now I'm back and ready to get going again. I've been working hard this week to get back into routine, watch what I eat, etc. In my brain I know that it will take…

Home Canning
Does anyone here do home canning/preserving? I'm interested in this, but I'm not sure about the "healthy" part of it. Part of me feels like it's probably healthier because I can control exactly what goes in everything, but on the other hand, I'm concerned about the salt, sugar (etc) that goes into canning and preserving.…

Hourglass Ladies
My fellow hourglass-shaped ladies, Have you managed to reduce your love handles? If so, I would appreciate some tips! Any specific type(s) of exercise, or anything at all! My waist is getting smaller, but I feel like the bottom of my hourglass still has too many hours!

The importance of the morning (for me)
I'm finally starting to figure out that for me, the AM is key in all things wellness. It's odd, because I have NEVER been a morning person at all. (I'm thrilled to sleep until 12, 1, 2...no sweat.) However, I find that my morning sets the routine for my whole day as far as fitness, eating well, etc. Case in point:…

Chia See Pudding
I made chia seed pudding last night (ok, chocolate chia seed pudding) for the first time. Delicious! However, I wasn't able to finish it - not even close. How long is it good for?

O'Doughs - Question
Hey guys, Sorry to be posting this here, but I'm out of options! I have a loaf of O'Doughs gluten-free banana cake. It looks delicious. O'Doughs, like many GF companies, includes a list of allergen warnings at the end of the ingredients listing, and also a "may contain ____" warning to boot. Beautiful! Here is my question:…

Hearty Quinoa & White Bean Soup
My mom sent me this recipe, and also made me some of the soup to try. I've been eating it all week - it's completely delicious. 4 tbsp. light olive oil 2 medium onions, finely chopped 2 large carrots, finely chopped 2 stalks celery, trimmed and diced 1-16oz (473 ml) can white beans 2 cloves garlice, finely chopped 2 cups…

Dealing with people!
Ok, so besides the fact that I'm on this amazing, life-changing health and fitness journey, I'm also on a new diet (in the sense that there are things I'm not allowed to eat - not in the "losing weight so I'm dieting sense) that is quite restrictive. It's working, and it's helped my medical condition a great deal. Yeah!…

Feeling happy today!
After some tough stuff going on lately (minor surgery, complications, feeling gross) I was hesitant about weighing in - why do I want to watch the scale go up?? - I decided to do it anyway.... and it went DOWN. I somehow still managed to lose a pound!! I wasn't able to exercise much, but I did my best to eat properly and…

Color Me Bad 5K
Has anyone done this? It's coming to my city at the end of June, and I'm really interested!! I'd love to hear about people's experiences. (I'd also love to know - are there rest stops along the way? lol) ETA: I can't seem to stop typing "Color Me Bad," no matter how much I try. Sorry! I mean Color Me Rad! Like dealing with…

Who works from home?
Working from home has played a part in my laziness and subsequent weight gain. It's hard to stay motivated when I don't have to put on real pants, and the fridge is right there. I'd love to connect with other folks who work at home, and see if anyone has tips/ideas/motivation.

Wobbles
How do you stay motivated when you still have wobbly bits? I know it takes time, and slow, steady progress is better than making a huge change fast.....but I'm still bummed about my wobbly stomach. What keeps you motivated?

Big Toenail Removal - anyone?
Hi folks, I'd love to hear from anyone who's had permanent nail removal, particularly big toe. I've had serious trouble with my the nail of my L big toe for nearly three years now, following a messy, badly-healed broken toe. It's at the point that permanent nail removal is looking like my only option, and while the vain…

Taking the cheese away...
... and putting it in my parents' fridge. Enough! The other day I found lactose-free mozzarella cheese. Amazing! SO many calories though, and it still leaves me feeling bloated. Lactose-free is better than not-lactose-free, but dairy and I really shouldn't be hanging out. I had been feeling better today, until I ate a…

*facepalm*
So I caved to my sugar cookie craving ... 340 calories later, omg! I feel so gross! I didn't realize really how bad those tasty cookies were. Now I have to do some exercise, even though I don't feel like it (pms = bad cramps) ... ok sugar cookies, we're not friends anymore!!!! Anyone else having facepalm moments?

I want to start running, but...
.... I don't really know how. I'm so embarrassed to admit that, but it's true. Ok, if a bigass snarling dog was running at me, I know how to "run" - away, that is. But running for fitness? I'm really not sure. I used to run in uni because it was free exercise, but I don't think I was doing it correctly. A few years have…

Afternoon hunger
This is my trouble area. I have the afternoon (to early evening) hunger. Because of my work schedule, I can't always schedule meals regularly. I end up getting so hungry that I just eat the first carby thing I think of, which is pretty much never anything healthy. I know snacks like celery sticks and things are healthy…

Frustration! (whining)
So....I started out doing really well. Walking, spinning, dvd dancing - yeah! Saw a couple of pounds come off in the first few days, and it was awesome. Then, I fell down the stairs. Not badly, mind you - I'm fine, nothing broken. But my ankles and knees were banged up and swollen, and I had to spend a couple of days off…
