Skin tac and Dexcom CGM
i'm thinking of trying skin tac to help my CGM stay on. I've read many different ways to do this. Wipe before insertion, wipe after insertion. Which way works best? And is it hard to remove the site when it dies?

Hi, I've been on MFP for 2 years. Still 1200 cals and still exercising 6 days a week. so, now, I'm up 7 pounds from then. So, recently, one of my fitness…

How does c25k calculate calories burned
hi, I just finished week 1. I've linked the app to MFP. How does it calculate calories burned without knowing how fast I'm walking/ running?
-
starting c25k free app program
I just downloaded the c25k app on my ipad. Seems pretty straight forward, but I have a few dumb questions. The app tells you to start walking, then it tells you when to start running. duh! Well, how do I know what speed to start at. There's no way on earth I will be running 5k in the 30 minutes the program lasts, even in 8…

Low carb green smoothies
I've decided to try this new craze. I need to get extra fiber in my system for obvious reasons. Any low carb smoothie ideas? I've done kale with almond milk and 1/2 c of frozen raspberries or blueberries. I added either cottage cheese, or 1/2 scoop of protein powder. Pretty tasty. I've read that I need to rotate my greens,…

Weight gain during menapause
I know this subject has been discussed at length. I'm 50 years old, weight has been at a complete standstill. is this a temporary problem or am I going to fight this hard forever? WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!
After "stalling" or "plateauing" for 4 months, I decided last week to change it up. Great intentions, thought I was making a move in the right direction. Since April, I've had the same exercise routine. Brazil Body Now three days a week, walking on my treadmill burning on average 300 calories three days a week, rest on…

End of Day Bloating
OK, as embarrassing as this is, I gotta go there!!! I start out my day feeling great. Of course, that's if my sugars start out good!!! More than "frustrated". I'm p*#@** off now!
My diary is open. I really need someone who knows what they're going and talking about to help me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I've been up and down the same 3-4 pounds for 2 months. I'm 49 years old. 5'6" tall and weigh 158. My goal is 140-145. Type 1 diabetic for 40 years with hypothyroidism. Diabetes is well…

There's measuring and there's "measuring!
I had posted a topic about being really frustrated last week. I got great advice and information about weighing my food and measuring everything I eat. So, I thought I started really paying close attention to measuring after that. I got a food scale yesterday, feeling like it would really be close to what I'd been doing…

Same Old Story Just a Different Day
Hi I've been religiously logging all food and exercise. According to MFP, I have a calorie deficit of 700 calories and should be losing 1.5 lbs a week. Some weeks, I'm down a little, some weeks up a little. I've gotten very discouraged, overall. I don't always eatback all my exercise calories. I've been underestimating my…
