excuses/mental games you used to use before starting MFP?
I started MFP about 9 months ago, I have lost about 35lbs so far! I have about 20 more to go. For me I think that losing weight/exercising is mostly a mental game you play with yourself. I feel like once you can get your head in it, things start to click! If you aren't mentally in it...its like fighting a losing battle…

had a setback...but i am back on track!
started at 230lbs in January...my lowest was 199 in July. Then vacation came. I gained about 6lbs and yo-yo'd with that same 6lbs the rest of July and all of August. Finally back on track with my diet and exercise and just weighed in at 199 again!!! So happy to be back in a "losing" pattern. Next goal is 195!!! The biggest…

started 6 months ago at 230lbs.....this weekend I weighed in at 199!!! I have not seen a number under 200 since my youngest daughter was a baby....18 years ago!!! seriously makes me so happy!!!!

calories per day...does this seem low?
so according to my fitness pal if I want to lose 2lbs per week I should be eating 1400 calories per day. ive been sticking to this number for a while and I am not losing weight. after reading some posts here Im thinking this is too few calories for me.
