Yogalites
Hello! I purchased 2 Yogalites DVDs the other day. One for weight loss, and one for toning. Apparently the Yogalite series has the best selling yoga DVD on Amazon, and it has a mixture of yoga and pilates. Now, I recently did the 30 Day Shred and I'm looking forward to a more gentle workout. I hope this is what I was…

Best Yoga DVD?
Hey guys, I was wondering what yoga DVDs are on the market right now. What ones do you use? I've never done yoga before, but I'm moving house next week and I'll have more room and time to do what I want. I can't wait to get started.

Clean Eating?
I see this phrase around the forums a lot, but I'm ashamed to report that I don't actually know what it means. Can you guys enlighten me? :blushing:

That pouch on the tummy?
I look in the mirror and the image of a kangaroo springs to mind. :/ I've been battling with my tummy for a while now. I'm 40lbs down since joining MFP (thank you guys!) but now, I have this pouch, or pooch as I've seen it been called elsewhere on here. What exercised can I do to tackle this? I know that there's no way I…

Workout for knee injury?
Hey guys, Someone I know wants to do a workout with the same effect as the 30 Day Shred, but he has knee injuries and can't strain them too much. Any suggestions?

Nuts.
I love snacking on nuts, and right now I'm on peanuts, but I would like to know which nuts are healthiest? I know most are high in fat...

40lbs down, more than half way there...
Hello everyone. I don't have any pictures to share because I'm ultimately camera shy, but I was hoping to share my story anyway. I joined MFP after putting on a surprising amount of weight. I used to be a slender UK size 12, but I went up 3 sizes due to a combination of medication and an emotionally-draining boyfriend,…

Another 30DS question - migranes.
I'm prone to migranes, and they're usually triggered by heat. Now, when I work out using the 30DS, I get migranes. I'm on level 3, day 2. Both workouts in level 3 so far have brought me migranes. Has anyone else felt this? Is it something I should worry about? Does anyone know what I can to do stop this happening?

Setting my carbs back to "normal"
I saw a post here a while back saying that it's good to custom set your carbs to 40% on the MFP settings. I did that, and my weight loss stopped. I've just there put it back to the recommended setting, hopefully my weight loss will start up again? What are your thoughts on this?

30 Day Shred question
Hey guys, I'm on day 4 of the 30 Day Shred, and although my legs are sore and I feel different, I seem to be "getting used" to phase 1. It's not as challenging as it was 3 or 4 days ago. I'm guessing this is normal, since there is a phase 2 and 3, right? Or am I doing something wrong?

I can't eat my target?
The past few days, I've been finding it hard to eat my daily goal. I've also started the 30 day shred, and I'm on day 3. I'm sore, stiff, but I feel it's working because I can actually do a few push-ups now. Before I was completely hopeless. Why am I losing my appetite? Also, I was told that eating carbs before working out…

Cooking from frozen?
If you're oven baking say, frozen chips... as they bake, do they become lighter due to losing water mass? And if so, is there a rough percentage of mass that they lose from defrosting?

My angry sweet tooth.
Recently, I've been craving sweet things like Scottish tablet, fudge, toffee, etc. I'm doing a damn good job resisting it but I don't know how to ward it off and make things a little easier for me. What do you guys do when your sweet tooth kicks up?

Low carb options?
I've just custom set my MFP to have 40% carbs per day (total of 120g a day), and I'm finding it a little difficult to keep within this limit. Does anyone have any tips for a low-carb diet? I do eat a lot of pasta and rice, are there any low-carb alternatives?

Shopping bills (Within the UK)
I just conducted a small experiment. I usually shop from Tesco. I like to buy a large amount of things that will last me at least a couple of weeks. But now that I'm eating healthy, I'm finding it hard sticking to my budget. So today, I had two windows open. On one, I shopped in the sections with offers and such, buying…

Calorie change or no?
Hello ladies and gents, I'm currently eating 1200 a day. It's lost me 2kg in the past 3 weeks (total loss is 11 kg since before Christmas), and I've noticed my weight loss has slowed down. This can be for one of two reasons. 1. After my recent bout of tonsillitis and staying in bed to recover, I simply need to walk more in…

Brown Vs White
I've seen a few of you talk about brown rice, and I'm curious - how is brown rice healthier than white rice? I'm about to make this a change in my diet and would like to read up on your thoughts and opinions on this. I've already stopped eating white bread, so rice is next on the list.

Oh no. Oh. No.
I just got some excellent value Pizza Hut vouchers through the door. Wat do. How much pizza is a safe amount? I usually order a medium, and that can last me two days... is this bad? My usual toppings are mushroom, chicken and pepper... But it's the base that's the nasty part, right? Oh, give me strength.

Banana bread - how I miss thee.
Okay, so I'm allergic to banana and I can't eat it, but I miss it so, so much. Especially banana bread. Does anyone have a recipe for something similar that won't kill me? XD Is there a flavouring I can use or another fruit that shares the same taste?

Butternut Squash - the bane of my life. >_>

Best time to weight yourself?
So I woke up this morning and weighed myself before I started my chores and had my morning hot chocolate. I've apparently lost 3kg since my last weigh-in. I can barely believe it. Is the morning a good time to weigh yourself? Am I doing this correctly? I'm in a little disbelief here, haha, I wasn't expecting such a good…

Eggs? Yay or nay?
I have been eating boiled egg and toast as a healthy meal option, but I've read in some places that you're only supposed to have one egg a week due to it's levels of cholesterol? Yet when I attempt to do more in-depth research, I read things that say this isn't true. Now I'm confused and turning to you for advice. What do…

Okay, so I'm back but...
I'm having trouble seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I left mfp before because of many things. I left my boyfriend, I had so much debt to deal with, and I'm a student so I had to study and stuff. Now I'm back, I'm a stone lighter than my start weight when I first joined, which is good... but it's taken months for that…

The Tuna Melt Panini
I found two generic panini's in the database, one 300 cal and the other was nearly 500. Which one shall I trust? I had a panini today, it had tuna and cheese in it. That IS a tuna melt, right?

Eggs
I'm having boiled eggs for lunch, but I can never seem to get them just how I like them. And I like them with a runny yolk to dip some toast in! Does anyone have any tips for me? Also, how are eggs for their cholesterol level? Someone once told me that one egg a week was enough, but that seems wrong to me.

Milk - Liquid Doom
I affectionately call milk "liquid doom" because I'm lactose intolerant. But I just can't not eat it. I have skimmed milk in my cereal, which makes me feel a little sloshy but it's kinder to me than semi skimmed or full fat. I also eat small amounts of cheese and chocolate, and cope with the side effects very well. Now…
