Time for a Mini-Cut?
I've been following the All Pro Beginner's strength workout routine for 3 Cycles now (15 weeks) and just started my 4th Cycle this week (deload phase). However, i'm feeling a bit uncomfortable with the amount of fat/weight im gaining (gained about 10 lbs in 15 weeks). Would doing a 4-week mini-cut be too drastic or will it…

Help! My friend refuses to increase his calorie intake.
I've been fairly successful with my weight loss journey all thanks to MFP and the knowledge i learned from here and around the internet. I was able to inspire some of my friends to take on Calorie counting as well but one friend in particular (who is fairly large 5'9 at 220lbs) believes that the less calories he takes, the…

Which Workout program next?
I'm just about to end my Ripped in 30 rotation and looking at my options on what I want to do next in the next following months. I believe I only have about 10 lbs more to lose before I begin to become serious about getting more muscle gains. With the above in mind, what would be the better workout series to do in your…

Overtraining?
How do i know if im overtraining? Today i did Week 4 of Ripped in 30, Week 1 workout 1 of Body Revolution, P90x Core Synergistics and a little bit of strength training (total of a little bit over two hours). Making home-made protein bars more calorie dense
I made some homemade-protein bars from this link http://bit.ly/aMFXpV. If i collect all recipe ingredients taking into account the 22g per 2 scoops from my protein powder and protein from other sources (peanut butter, oatmeal) and divided into 12 bars, the total amount of protein is only 7 g per bar. Would anyone have any…

Peanut Butter stunting my weight loss?
I think i'm starting to notice that on days that I eat peanut butter on whole wheat bread, my wheat hovers around 133 lbs but when I do not have peanut butter for a whole day, I am at least 1 to 2 lbs lower. Can the fats from peanut butter be a cause of my slower than usual weight loss?

Should I increase my daily calories? Need opinions
I've read quite a lot of helpful threads around but I might also need some direct to the point opinion about what i'm doing (so I can improve even more) Just as an intro, i've already lost around 10 lbs and about 15 lbs away from my goal weight (or at least till my tummy gets flat). However, I think I might have even…

Calorie Allowance reset time
I needed to ask this because of my nightshift schedule. I set-up my daily planner from 7am breakfast time to 12 midnight night shift lunch so that it won't be too confusing whenever i go back to regular day schedule (weekends). However, there are times when I eat small malls in between 12 midnight and my 7am breakfast.…

I've decided to do 30 day shred workout and did Day 1 just earlier this morning. It was just right after I came home from work (I do night shifts). I didnt eat since Midnight (7 hour gap) and after doing the workout i was feeling a bit lightheaded and maybe a little dizzy. So I decided to eat the remaining < 300 Cals from…

Hi everyone!
Hi! I'm fairly new here and is just starting to get the hang of using myfitnesspal. I can say this site is amazing and everyone in the forum seems to be really friendly and supportive. As for myself, I am also on the road to losing the extra weight and I do admit that a few people have been noticing the changes.…
