On the other two days, I do strength training, lower body and upper body. The problem is this .... when life does not give me the opportunity to workout, I always…

Transition Week 5
Okay, so I made it through adding back starchy vegetables, fruit, and dairy. I have actually lost 5 pounds since transition started. But week 5 ~ the addition of bread, pasta, and rice ~ daily caloric intake is now 1000-1550. This one is hard to wrap my mind around as I firmly believe bread and his friends are what did me…

Hello my fellow medifasters! For those of you who have met your goal and have transitioned off of the diet, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on how it works. I set my goal, put my head down and just trotted along. Now that my goal is about two weeks away, I'm curious to know what lies ahead. Thanks! *I started at 175 in…

Going to a Baby Shower and...
Hello my fellow Medifasters! I am going to my sister's baby shower and I am determined to not stray from the plan. They are serving brisket and all of the BBQ sides, as well as cake and punch. I am taking a Medifast bar and brownie, and 1/2 of my lettuce from my lean and green meal to eat with the brisket. I also plan to…
