Swimming Watch
I just started swimming (I actually started lessons so I don't pick up any bad habits before I even begin but I'm also swimming around them too for practice!) and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a watch to track both time and laps. Preferably also calories but that is not a real need. Thank you!

HI So when it comes to all this nutrition stuff, I have to say I draw a blank. the problem of today, or well the last week really is that i'm falling under my protein limit and i've just started doing some strength workouts to build some upper body muscle after quite frankly never even doing anything for that part of my…

Why do you stop?
I wasn't going to go on the treadmill today but ended up doing an 8minute quickie [4min jog 4min power walk] (LOL - please let it be said that I'm recovering from an injury and 8minutes is heaven to me!) While I was staring at my neighbours back garden I started to ponder why I stop. Lately it has been due to pain or the…

GAP!
That place would give me a complex if I wasn't so aware of it's odd sizing! Does anyone else shop there? I'm a UK10 in every shop but GAP. I bought a pair of jeans in there last week and I got a size 12 (and they where so tight!). And then a few months before I had to get an EXTRA small jumper and it was still too big.…

Oh Pasta - you have scorned me!
Being Northern Irish I am expected to love potatoes but I kinda hate them. HATE. I take them once a week to please my Mother and plaster them in gravy or curry sauce. Point is that I am a pasta or noodle eater through and through. I've always assumed pasta and noodles where a healthier option than the insane amount of…

Simple question!
How long should you wait after you eat until you do exercise? It's not really practical for me to do it before I eat as I tend to arrive home absolutely starving. A lot of people say snack first but I prefer to eat my dinner then proceed to work out later in the night but I've never really known how long I should wait.

Pain & Exercise!
Hi I'm new and I thought I'd ask a question that has always bothered me as my first proper 'big' post! One of my major problems when it comes to exercise is the pain that comes with certain types. I have a problematic spine which means I can't do things which require bending a lot cause quite frankly it hurts! (For those…

Hello
So I guess I am here to introduce myself. My name is Louise and I am from Belfast, Northern Ireland! I have never really been too overweight but I have a small structure and therefore watching what I eat is very important as even if I put on a pound, it really shows. I joined here to keep track of my new exercise programme…
