I thought I'd share a good laugh with everyone!

I have a local leisure centre and I am considering signing up for their 'improvers' class since I haven't actually swam in several years.

Imagine my surprise when the name of course is 'Dipper the Dolphin'

You even get a free tee! OH my....

Fantastic!! Very brave of you to sign up as well! I know it's hard for people who aren't natural swimmers to get into the water. I'm so grateful that my parents made me and my siblings all do lots of swimming lessons when I was growing up in Australia. I really enjoy swimming now to relax and invigorate.

    Enjoy the course :glasses:

Be prepared for serious calorie burns once you start doing laps. My wife does swimming as her exercise and she beats my running for a good cardio burn nearly every time.

I was always a really good swimmer when I was a child but having not swam in years I'm definitely not confident enough without a few lessons to get into the pool and do lengths! I am sorry I didn't keep it up because it's great exercise and really good for my bad back

It sounds like you have a fun leisure center. Good luck "dipping the dolphin" :) Swimming is excellent exercise and great for all ages.
