how much calories should i consume and burn?
my matainence calories is 1700 calories a day. in order for me to lose weight im suppose to eat 1,200 calories If I exercise and burn 500 calories a day. should I be eating back the 500 calories a day? also some people are saying your suppose to burn off every calorie you eat in order to lose weight is that true?

I don't know what to do. I am 5,3 and 174 pounds. there's some people that are telling me I need to burn more calories then I eat in order to lose weight and then there are people telling me I need to eat 1,500-1,700 calories a day if im burning 500 calories im really confused and don't know what to do./:

If I eat 1,300 calories a day and walk 2-4 miles a day?
