Is ab work (like crunches) necessary?
I'm doing the beginner's body weight circuit from Nerd Fitness. 20 squats, 10 push-ups, 20 walking lunges, 10 dumbbell rows, 15 second plank, and 30 jumping jacks. Right now I'm just going through it twice, three times a week. Should I be adding anything else to it or is this good for a beginner? It definitely challenges…

Upper ab and middle back pain
I started doing 30 day shred a few days ago. I did two days, took a rest day, did day 3 today. A few hours after my workout I began to feel upper abdominal and middle back pain. My first (and small) NSV!
My dad gave me a silver ring with turquoise in it when I was like 13. It was always big so I wore it on my right thumb. I haven't been able to wear it since I got pregnant in 2009. I tried to put it on my thumb today and it fits again! No more fat thumbs! :laugh:

I bought a bundle of asparagus today just thinking about this delicious asparagus I had at Landry's a few months ago. I know that whatever they did to it was probably terrible for me.
