Is this a good dumbbell routine?

It has solid exercises built into it, and a good philosophy behind the idea of three full body days a week for a beginner. I would ignore his advice for women to do 10-15 reps though, and follow his recommendation that he gives to men of 6-12.0

I am new to this but, fwiw, I also picked this routine. First couple of weeks doing 10 reps with smaller plates for the dumbbells to practice good form, next week I'll be moving to higher weight and lower reps.0
