I lost a Backstreet Boy!
I've really wanted to say that for a while! But now, I think I can. Back in October 2010, I hit my heaviest and most unhappy weight...355lbs. My first daughter was 6 months old and I knew I needed change. A BIG one. I began eating healthy and exercising regularly, starting slowly. It wasn't until after the birth of my…

Almost there! (pics)
After a year on MFP I must say...I have learned a lot about myself. The first and main thing being...when I want something bad enough, I take it. After one year, I'm nearly there. I still have a ways to go, but hopefully this will inspire newbies much like I was when I first started when I saw posts like this. Here's to…

85lbs and counting
I'm almost there! A week or so ago I noticed that I needed a new size in a jersey. I decided to take some a picture for comparing. I'm definitely getting there. I had no idea just how much I've changed till I saw this. Same jersey...different size :flowerforyou:

Is that me? 60lbs and going...(pics)
I figured it's finally my turn to post my progress. After 7 months of hard work, I'm 60lbs down. I still really can't believe the difference between the pics. The starting picture was taken a few pounds into my journey, but it's the best I have right now. Taken 16 Feb 2012 Taken 14 Aug 2012

Motivation. I need it.
For the past three weeks I have been at 266lbs. My weight doesn't go up or down, it just stays the same. Pre work out, post work out, in clothes, in my underwear. I bumped up my cardio to 40min 6x a week and I'm fluctuation my strength training between 35-50 min. I've been eating back my exercise cals, like always. Maybe I…

HUGE NSV for me
Just thought I'd share...it's posted on my blog with pics if anyone is interested in the photos :) Just like a lot of people I've found myself buying clothes in hopes of fitting into them. One such item was a pair of Victoria's Secret PINK line sweat pants in a large. Lets face it, even a large is a bit...uh...not quite so…

Yay!
Thank you for the invite! Now, I have to wonder...what's more realistic by Memorial day...15 or 20lbs? I don't want to over shoot but at the same time I want something I know I'll have to work hard for and push myself.

I'm a work in progress, but...
Me, just after receiving my first published book...just over 300lbs, Dec 2010. As happy as I was about the book, I'm so embarrassed by this picture Me, a few weeks after baby girl #2 Me, when I weighed in at 27lbs lost I still have a long road ahead of me, but it doesn't hurt to look at where I've been for motivation.…

Need a good work out for the calves
I've been doing reasonably well. I'm losing inches in my waist, hips, and thighs. But, my calves aren't budging. I do calf extensions, but I'm wondering if there's something better. I do have rather large calves (19 in around) but it would be nice tighten them up and lose some of the flabbiness. Any ideas?

Anyone with me? I'm looking for a few new friends for extra motivation. Feel free to add me :)

Gluten free
Anyone else gluten free? I have celiac, so for me it's needed. I'd love to connect with others that are gluten free, whether by need or by choice, and swap recipes. I love my basics, but I'm definitely looking for some new things to try.

Looking to get back in the game
I'm no newbie to MFP. I was actually on the site a good long while last year while I lost a total of 21lbs. Since a deployment for my husband came up, I decided to take that 6 months and hit the road to promote my books and work on my writing. Well...a few days before that deployment, SURPRISE, I found out I was pregnant.…

Eating out the healthy way?
Or is there a healthy way? I ask because as of Saturday night I will be on the road for my first American book tour. I'm still keeping my work out routine, but it's the eating I'm worried about. Where can I find some sensible cal friendly foods? I know we won't always have the option to cook a healthy meal. I was thinking…

Anyone want an extra cheerleader?
Hey everyone! Just wanted to post to see if any of you are looking for extra buddies on MFP. I'm Trista, I'm on day 42 of a 100lb Shred. My next weigh in is tomorrow but so far I'm sown 11lbs. I'm looking for extra friends myself, because extra support and encouragement never hurt anyone! If you want to know more about me,…

What keeps you away from pop?
Every week I like to have one, maybe two diet coke zeroes. I know they're not good for you at all and I want to steer myself away. I used to have one a day. I've dropped to the couple a week, but I would like to cut it out all together. I was thinking of doing an iced tea with a tad bit of sugar substitue. But, again bad.…
