I've been doing reasonably well. I'm losing inches in my waist, hips, and thighs. But, my calves aren't budging. I do calf extensions, but I'm wondering if there's something better. I do have rather large calves (19 in around) but it would be nice tighten them up and lose some of the flabbiness. Any ideas?

Most people have trouble acheiving results with their calves not because of the exercise(s) they choose to do but how they do them. I prefer doing 4 sets of standing calve raises and 4 sets of seated calve raises 1 day per week. With any calve exercise you choose you need to make sure that you pause for atleast 3 seconds at the top of your rep and atleast 5 seconds at the bottom of your rep, if you dont your achilles tendons will take the large majority of the work load and you wont see much if any at all improvement in your calves.
As far as the flabbiness, your diet will take care of that in time.

Thanks so much for the info! Sounds like I was first pointed in the wrong direction of how how to properly do them. I'll be changing that up for sure.
