A long and winding road
Its been a while, ups and downs, forks in the road. What matters is when you get back on the horse after falling off. 91lbs so far, a bazillion inches I'm sure. Size 24 to 14... 13 weeks until my wedding. Pretty proud today :) Now, how do I post a pic ;P

Pain (once weight is lost)
So, between November of 2009 and May of 2010, I lost about 77lbs using mfp. I didn't do a TON of exercising, just some light stuff. I started noticing a terrible ache in my hips that happens when I sit and then stand up, or after I've been laying down. Now Its tough to get down the stairs some mornings my mobility is so…

Check out this site! It does a real time re-adjustment based on your projected loss. Select your photo (Should be a full body length photo) and upload it. It will select your face - adjust it if necessary. Make sure the details (height and weight) are correct on the left hand side (based on the weight in the picture!)…

I stared them down for about an hour... then I thought, hey, what the hell! I got them on!!! Theyre a wee bit short lol? And I did have to lay down... (darned extra skin) BUT it has…

It really is amazing!
So, I hit this weird plateau..... wasn't losing, wasn't gaining. Wasn't particularly bloated. I couldn't figure it out. After almost two weeks of being stuck there I decided to jack up my calories (reduce my deficit). So, I added 500 calories per day. Its amazing how hard it is to eat SO MUCH! Now, before I started this…

is in milk! I have mostly been drinking water for oh, almost a month now. The only time I have milk is in cereal. Today I thought, oh well, i have some extra calories kicking around, I'll have a glass of milk with my almonds. HOLY COW! When I first took a sip I practically recoiled! I can't believe how sweet it is! Does…

My Mom is AWESOME.
I just wanted to say, publicly, how proud I am of my mother. After watching me on this journey, and seeing my results I convinced her to work with me - and she started on MFP with me. She is eating healthy every day and even though she bummed her knee out right at the beginning is doing what she can to get whatever…

Looking at pictures of yourself...
is SO hard... but is it EVER motivating. Just when I thought I was starting to slide a little... I was cleaning up my PC and found some terrible documentation! Anybody else find it to be a motivator?
