Healthy, tasty, quick, high cal food?
Hi everyone, I swim, cycle, and I am soon going to do rowing exercises. I'm burning quite the calories. I'm having trouble eating it back... Today my total daily goal was nearly 5,000. I'm using shakes as quick calories. Usually milk+oatmeal+cacao; sometimes I add whey and dextrose, it depends. But the shakes are not…

Questions about your weight gain
Counterpart of "Questions about your weight loss". Sometimes I feel like nearly all people look at MPF as a weight loss app. To me, it's to keep track if I'm getting enough nutritions. So; 1. How much weight have you gained? 2. What did you start at? 3. How tall are you? 4. How many calories did you eat daily? (approx) 5.…

April Burn Challenge, really?
OK. Sorry to bother you with this, but it actually annoys me people call this a challenge. I can understand to some people with extremely busy schedules and 12h work days, the 400cal burn it can be.. But on the actual group somebody said the 4 glasses of water was an actual challenge. April Burn Challenge Burn 400 calories…

I swear by this shake! Meal replacement.

What would you eat?
What would you eat if you were about to sleep and are 1000cal under your goal? I'm way over my protein goal, so protein is OK (Goal is 133gr, total is 180). I just ate a whole bowl of greek yoghurt with muesli and some peanut butter. But I'm still hungry! FYI: I'm trying to gain muscle. This sometimes happens..

Generally speaking, the most middle distance swimmers who use the glycolytic system…

Calling her unattractive
Well, not calling her unattractive as for who she is, but something she does or says. A friend brought this up one time, and I thought it was time to put it to practice. So I asked a girl I met last week the following question: "Chocolate or Caramel?", to which she responded; "Depends. I'd rather have espresso with caramel…

Did someone say pool?
I just started competition swimming again! And man am I stoked. It has been since I was a kid (well, at the age of 21 some old people would still call me kiddo..) that I swam competitions and once more I'm game. Vigorous trainings for 4 to 5 times a week are no exceptions, and competitions around the country are again a…
