Getting back on track
About a month and a half ago I started a new job which put me on a day shift M-F (previously I was working graveyard 32 hours a week). And, while a normal shift is great and all, I've lost the time to work out. I don't feel like getting up any earlier than I already have to and I'm pooped when I get home. Any ideas for…

Looking for fellow runners
I've been running for sometime now. My average pace is about 10 minutes. I usually run the local 5k and 8k races and consider myself an intermediate runner (as opposed to the couch to 5k crowd). I have my sites set on a half marathon in May. Even though that's still 7 months away, I want to start training now (you know…

Looking for motivating and supportive friends
Periodically, I thin my friends down and discard the ones who are no longer active, supportive, etc. And, it leaves me posting messages like this one. Here's where I'm at: my weight fluctuates between 136 & 138. I try to eat healthy, but I'm not perfect. Today, a DQ Blizzard made its way into my belly. I have a very…

Lunch ideas?
I've self -- diagnosed that I should be on a 40--30-- macronutrient diet. I usually take my lunch to work. You know the typical sandwich, yogurt, etc. I need ideas on what I can easily and quickly pack to take with me for lunch. Also, I'm needing a few dinner ideas as well. I'm only cooking for myself. Thanks a lot for…

Need some ideas
I recently figured out customized micronutrients. Carbs 40% & fat and protein 30%. I usually take a sandwich and whatever else I have (cheez-its, yogurt, etc). Your typical sack lunch. I need some ideas to help me achieve the new micronutrient goals. Something quick and easy. Something I can throw in my lunch box and go.…

Introduction
Hi. I've been a member of MFP for awhile now, but wanted to be part of a group. As the description states, I don't have much weight to lose, but want to get toned and in shape for summer. I've been running, doing yoga, and Six Week Six Pack to get there. If you want/need motivation to hesitate to send me a friend request.

Returning MFP user
I've been a member of this group last time I joined MFP. I enjoyed this group before so I thought I'd rejoin. If you want/need motivation don't hesitate to send me a friend request.

Looking for supportive and encouraging friends
I recently went through my "friends" list and deleted everyone who wasn't being supportive or encouraging. It felt like I was talking to myself half the time when I actually bothered to post something. I don't have a particular goal set except to eat healthier and exercise more. Here's where I'm at - I've just started week…

Activity level guidelines
I need to find out my level of exercise apart from MFP guidelines. Does anyone have a suggestion on where to find this info? I thought scooby workshop had something, but was having trouble navigating to the right place. Thanks a lot.

Back after a brief hiatus
I don't have a good reason for quitting using MFP, but I did. Lately, I've been eating so crappy, I decided to rejoin. I have started doing yoga in my living room, so I've been exercising. I'm posting this in hopes to find "pals" top help keep me motivated and help others keep their motivation.
