What's something fun you did this week?
Summer can be such a fun-filled time of year for some folks. Anything, big or small, make you pause and think, "Now that was fun!" or bring a smile to your face? Just curious ... might also inspire us to add a little something fun into our days ... or nights. Hope everyone is doing great and having at least a touch of fun!

Week of June 19th Goals
Well, this past week was not quite as I imagined it would unfold, but it did end with a delightful weekend spent with my beau's daughter from NYC staying with us. She's such a fun person to be around! I didn't achieve most of my goals - came close or met my water goal most days, except the weekend (substituted several…

Introductions
Hi, friends and welcome! Please feel free to share about yourself here. I am Sara, a former teacher and now a stay-at-home grandmother. Best gig ever! I joined MFP 2.5 years ago and have found the resources here and the friends I've made to be quite helpful in keeping me motivated. I am 10 pounds lighter than when I joined…

June 13th Weigh In/ Progress
Since several of us are working on weight loss and since we don't have a spreadsheet, here's a place for us to share this information. Completely optional, of course! You may have a better format, and if so, please share as I am always ready to learn! Here I go (with clarification): Original weight (when I began MFP):…

Week of June 6 Goals
Getting a late start here on posting goals for the week. This week is a bit challenging with a couple of stressful house guests, and taking care of my young granddaughter while the rest of her family is out of town. So, for this week, my goals are: 1. Hydrate! Aim for 80 ounces daily, at least! 2. Eat wisely - stay within…

Labor Day, Hooray! Challenge 2016
This group is a continuation of a long-running group most recently called "Something to Celebrate: Memorial Day 2016." We tend to use various holidays as a target date for reaching our personal goals which typically include goals related to health, fitness, and/or weight loss. We began this particular challenge on Monday,…

Need help creating group
Goodness, I know this shouldn't be so hard. I've created a new group, but cannot seem to invite anyone. When I type a username in the "invite" field, nothing comes up. It just starts over blank as before. Sorry to be such a dimwit, friends! If anyone can figure this out, could you please advise me, or start a new group for…

Week of April 10
Did well with my goals from last week, and got that pound off that I'd hoped to lose. So for this week, I will: 1. Stay hydrated (84 oz per day or more) 2. Eat mindfully and healthily 3. Ride my stationary bike 45 min or more daily 4. Continue to work daily in my yard and garden 5. Make sure to walk 10k steps or more each…

Favor
Hi, friends! I have been swamped prepping for a big party this past Sunday to celebrate the completion of the roof on our geodesic dome home. No more tarps - hooray! As a result of all that work getting ready, our old farmhouse looks cleaner than ever, our yards are the best groomed they've been all season, and my garden…

Group Side Goal Week 4
Goodness, is it possible that we are halfway through our challenge? Wow! We are closing in on 1,000 collective miles recorded on our spreadsheet. Hooray for us! Last week we clocked only 241.59 miles, a good drop from the previous two weeks. Let's all try to step it up this week, and document our miles, however they might…

Jan 5th Goals
While I did reach my exercise, logging, and calorie goals for yesterday, I was overly ambitious on planning my Sunday. So, here I go trying to be a bit more real. Haha... Today I will: Ride my stationary bike for an hour Take my granddaughter for a walk around the lake (3/4 miles, carrying her 33 pounds on my back in a…

Aaaaaannnnnd, we're off!
And running, or biking, or lifting, or walking, or jumping jacksing, or ... I hope everyone has a terrific first day of this challenge. My goals will be very simple, since I know who I am during the holidays: I am a mama and a grandma, and I love to bake and cook lots of yummy food for my family. I love holiday foods and…

Tuesday, Nov 18th Goals
Good grief! I really exceeded my calories yesterday... Hope to be more sensible today. The only saving grace is that I toted firewood uphill and down for over an hour and rode my cycle like planned. So today ... 1. Eat within my goals 2. Drink 80 ounces of water 3. Ride for 60 minutes on the cycle 4. Draw, design, draw,…

Monday, Oct 27th Goals
Good morning, friends! I feel as if I have just emerged from a long tunnel. We wrapped up our production yesterday afternoon - the costuming/ acting gig I had which made it tough to get in my nightly workout. Couldn't count sewing on buttons and such as cardio - haha. So, while today I begin the run around of delivering…

Happy Saturday 9/13 Goals
Well, yesterday's goals were met pretty doggone well, so I think I will carry them over to today. They are: *drink at least 80 ounces of water (Drank 144 oz. on Fri!) *ride on the exercise bike, averaging 18 mph, for 60 minutes - (I believe I averaged about 17 mph on Fri, though hit 19 mph for quite some minutes - getting…
