For those on phentermine - trouble eating all your calories?
A question for anyone who is on Phentermine, or was on it at one point - did you have issues eating all your calories? Especially if you've exercised and need to get your net calories above the 1200 point? I have an issue doing this period, without Phentermine, and I'm afraid that I will find it almost impossible to do…

Why so hard to find gas station cappuccino calories?
I can find some, like from Circle K, 7 Eleven, etc...but even then sometimes it takes a lot of digging. It's a PAIN. And of course I've picked up the habit of swinging by the gas station at 4am on my way to work to get a high energy vanilla cappuccino because well...that is what I wanted for breakfast and I've been running…

Anyone else deal with snapping hip syndrome?
I deal with this, and most of the time it's just annoying, but it does hurt as well. Doing any sort of leg lifts [like lying down and bringing a straightened leg up towards my head/chest] will cause my hips [usually right] to make an audible pop sometimes with pain. I was reading up on it, and horseback riders are prone to…

Horsey People - how about a challenge for us?
I know there are horsey people out there, and as we know - horses ARE fitness, especially depending on your discipline. How about a challenge of riding a certain amount of hours each week? Maybe 10? Or even 5, as I know we all have busy schedules. And perhaps try to make the workouts more challenging, most posting,…

Pedometer on the elliptical?
I swear I posted this before, but I cannot for the life of me figure out if it posted succesfully or not. I'm in the 100 mile challenge, and I spend a lot of time on the elliptical. I was wondering just how reliable a pedometer is on an elliptical, if at all? Would it be better if I kept track of the "steps" taken on the…

Never introduced myself.
I've been here on MFP since March or so, but never introduced myself. Anyways, HI! I'm 25, live in San Diego, and my goal is to get back in shape like I used to be. I used to run, ride 6 days a week, and do strength training...I was in amazing shape. Then got married, moved to NC, stopped riding [had to sell the horses],…

What other workout DVDs are good?
I have JM's 30 Day Shred, No More Trouble Zones, Burn Fat Boost Metabolism, Brazilian Butt Lift [haven't started this one yet]. I am currently downloading Slim in 6. What are other good videos that have proven results? I'd like to keep a variety on hand, to keep me from becoming too bored. I might eventually venture into…

Cold and clammy during/after workout?
I usually use the elliptical for cardio when I'm not doing strength training or a workout video. I sweat quite a bit from my forehead, chest, and back [soaks through my shirt usually]. However, my arms are always really cold and clammy, they never get warm nor do they get sweaty. Is this something to be concerned about?

Bi Polar I & 2
I read another thread somewhat recently, but there wasn't too much information in it. Being Bi Polar is hard enough, trying to add weight loss in with it makes it 100x's harder. I am diagnosed with Bi polar I, and every time I go to a new psychiatrist it is the same diagnoses, so I know it's not just a label slapped on…

Fellow horseback riders?
Just wondering how many people out there also ride horses, and what discipline do you ride? I've been riding since I was really, really young and I don't know what I'd do without it. Not only does it keep me sane, it is an amazing way to keep in shape depending on what kind of riding you do. I rode english for 8 years or…

Count my work as exercise?
I saw another thread [nurses] that got me thinking. I have my lifestyle set at "light activity". I was logging my work as exercise, but now I'm not sure. I feed, water, and clean up after 14 horses 4 days a week. I usually ride one of their horses, too. [I always count my riding time as exercise, though]. On Mondays I work…

How to stop habitual habits?
**Title SHOULD be "habitual eating"....sorry, I'm tired. *** I have food habits, and they're hard to break. I've managed to break many of them, if not all, but I always fail at breaking this one. I have to eat a "snack" at night, like before I'm ready for bed. I've been doing it for years and years now, and I just can't…
