Are the Calorie burns accurate for weight lifting?
When I weight lift for 1 hr I get a calorie burn value of 180, when I walk for an hour I get 285. I'm 5'4" and 132 lbs. The weight lifting feels way harder than the walking, why the lower calorie burn?

I'm doing around 400-600 hundred on a really good day. Is that fairly typical?

I'm consistently way more active on the weekends. Which proves to me if I never had to work again I'd be in AWESOME shape!:smile:

Yay, 2 lbs down this week!!!
After not seeing the scale budge for 2 weeks this week 2 lbs came off, Yay! I know weight is only one measure of fitness but combined with looser pants I'm very happy to see the numbers coming down!!!

Going heavy (er)
I'm starting to increase my weights. I do some home DVD's to weight train, mostly Cathe Freidich videos. Will increasing the weight lifted effect weight loss in the short term. I've heard that initially your muscles hold onto more water so it may stall the weight loss until they get used to it. Does this make sense?

I'm wondering if there is an option on MFP to change the above categories, sometimes I eat more mini meals in a day, I'd like something along the lines of Meal 1, Meal 2 etc. Anyway to change this?

Pants getting looser but scale not moving
My clothes are definitely getting looser and I think I look slimmer but the numbers on the scale haven't moved in 2 weeks! I'm working out and doing some light weights but I really doubt I'm doing enough to be making significant weight gain in muscle so I'm not sure what is going on. What scale should I buy?
Just wondering if anyone has an idea of what kind of scale I should buy. I don't want anything too expensive. The one I have now is a basic bathroom scale with a dial type display, it is hard to see the numbers and they move around by about 3 lbs depending on how I'm standing.

Is it better to eat most of my calories earlier in the day?
I find that by dinner I'm starving, would it be helpful to eat more calories earlier? I'm eating around 1300-1500 total per day depending on if I'm exercising or not.
