Losing a pound a week just by doing jump jacks?
Besides the obvious eating healthy and drinking water and all that, I heard that if you do 1000 jumping jacks every day (after a week, doing 7000) you'll lose a pound a week. The logic is that you burn 1 calorie for every 2 jumping jacks, so 7000 jumping jacks would equal 3500 calories. Is this true?

Jumping Jacks Challenge?
Would anybody be interested in a jumping jacks challenge? The challenge would be to do 1000 jumping jacks a day (split them up into 10 sets of 100 throughout the day) so that you burn 7000 total by the end of the week. The logic is that since you burn 1 calorie for every 2 jumping jacks, by the end of the week you'll have…

Need help for science project about food
Hey everybody! :) So, I have a science project for school, and I'm going to be going to soup kitchens and making different meals (all high in nutrition value yet also affordable) and seeing which ones that they prefer, and then giving the data to the Soup Kitchen to help them know what to make. (It's not your typical…

Jumping Jacks Challenge
I'd just like to remind everybody that the jumping jacks challenge will start tomorrow. The plan is to try to do it everyday this whole week. If you have heart rate monitors, it'd be wonderful if you could tell us how many calories you lost by the jumping jacks. To read more about the challenge, look here:…

Fiber?
How many grams of fiber would you recommend to eat daily? I usually eat 29 grams of fiber everyday, is that healthy? Too much? Too little?

Favorite brand/type of hummus?
I love, love, love hummus and I'm always looking for new ones to try! My favorite is the Chef Earl's brand (the Jalapeno flavor) and I got it at Whole Foods. It's only fifty calories per tablespoon, and it's amazing. (: What are your favorites? And where can I find them?

Protein Shakes
What are some good protein shakes that you recommend? I don't have a blender by the way, so ready made protein shakes are preferable. I just tried the Bolthouse Farms Protein Plus Chocolate shake, and it was soo good. Any others that you would recommend? And what are your favorite flavors?

Gummy Multivitamins?
Hi, I'm a teenager, and I'm looking for a good multivitamin. I have the One a Day Teen Advantage for her Multivitamin but it's much too big for me to swallow. I've never been good at swallowing pills, so I think a gummy multivitamin would be better for me, or at least a smaller pill. Any suggestions?

Heart Rate Monitor
What's a good heart rate monitor? Having one be waterproof would be a huge plus, but isn't completely necessary. I want one that can tell me my heart rate, calories burned, and distance.

Weights
I'm pretty young, I'm a teenager. I've never lifted weights before, so how many pounds would be a good starting weight? (What I mean is, would a 2 pound dumbbell be good for first starting strength workouts?) And also, how often should I move up a pound. (After a month or two, should I move up to a 3 pound dumbell?)

Protein
So I have a 45 gram protein "limit." What happens if I go over this limit? (Eating perhaps 60 grams of protein.) Would this be unhealthy? I'm confused, as protein seems healthy to me.
