So I have a 45 gram protein "limit." What happens if I go over this limit? (Eating perhaps 60 grams of protein.) Would this be unhealthy? I'm confused, as protein seems healthy to me.

It is very healthy. In fact believe it or not it's essential.
The limit is one usually imposed by the default dietary settings. These can be adjusted.0 -
Okay, thanks. If I have around a 1200 net calories daily, would eating 60-75 grams of protein be healthy? Or would it be better to increase my calorie intake too if I want to increase my protein intake?0

You don't need to increase your calorie input. Unless you need or want to.
You would just be robbing from one macro nutrient to put into another, say taking from the carbs and giving to the proteins.
Unless you have kidney issues or problems (and quite frankly even if you don't) 60-75 grams of protein would not be considered unhealthy.
I aim for 1-1.5g protein per lb of lean body mass.0
