Sugar Hangover...?
For the last little while I have been noticing that if I eat a lot of sugary food I feel really crappy the next day. My digestion is all messed up, I can't "go," I feel tired... I'm not talking about bananas or fruit juice here, I mean hard-core, addiction inducing, processed to high heaven sugar. Last night I had three…

What is your Protein Factor?
...and are you meeting it? Just curious! Mine is 142g. When my coach first told me this, I'm pretty sure I swore at her, and asked how one is expected to eat that much! But it's not actually turning out that bad! I think I hit or go over most days. Anyway, how about you?

What is "high sodium"?
So, when I look at a nutritional label, what % dv or amount of mgs should I be looking for that indicates a food is "high sodium"? For example, I know that 5g of fiber, or 20% DV, is considered "high fiber." Assuming I don't have any blood pressure or heart problems (or any health problems, really, other than being obese),…

I need to stock my freezer, people!
Hello, all! I need to stock my freezer this weekend with lunch-size portions of food! Stuff like chili, soup, casseroles...I am trying to eliminate gluten and dairy from my diet, so those recipes are most welcome (although I think I'm smart enough to figure out how to make any good recipe work). Gimme your best…

Am I "Sedintary"?
I have been reading a couple of topics on this forum that include the words "if you do xx regularily, you are not sedintary" and "give yourself more credit for the activity you do." So it got me thinking...I have myself set to sedintary, but am I really? Should I "give myself more credit" for what I do all day? So, I take…

Squash
I have recently acquired a buttercup squash. I want to cook it on Saturday with some chicken breasts, but I am tired of roasting and boiling it. What are your favourite squash recipies!?

Relationship on the rocks and I need chocolate!!
July has been the worst month ever. My bf of 3+ years and I are teetering on the edge of break-up, and all I want to do is eat crap. I have lost my motivation to work out, too (why work to look good when the person you love doesn't really give a crap?). We started this weightloss journey together, and now he's moved in…

Plus Size Clothes in America?
Hello. I am a Canadian that will be venturing into Montana for some shopping this weekend. I'm just wondering where I should look for plus-sized clothes? Let me know! :D

How many calories "over" are too many?
Just curious. I usually don't stress out too much if my daily calories are 100-200 cal over my goals. Should I?

Couch 2 5 K Tracking...?
How does one add C25K to their exercise tracking? Do I have to create a new exercise? If so, how do I know how many calories I've burned?

Any Herbalifers want to be my friend?
Anyone out there doing Herbalife shakes want to be my friend? I need some support! Today I'm having a serious carb craving. I could really sit down with a loaf of bread and a stick of butter and be happy. But I'm sitting here drinking my shake. I'm not happy about it, but I'm doing it! Anyway, add me if you are a…

NSV: It's Summer, People!!
This year, for the first time in my whole entire life, I will not have to buy new summer clothes because last years shorts are too small. I put on a pair last night to work out in, and they JUST fit, because they are almost too big! Actually, scratch that. I'll probably have to buy a new swimsuit this year which is smaller…

Couch to 5K for 200lb + Peeps?
I have been walking with my dog pretty well every day for the last year, and it's gotten to the point where I'm walking as fast as I can without running and I feel like I'm not working that hard (which is fantastic!). So I thought I'd try this C25K deal. I have never run or jogged in my whole life. I've seen other topics…

Work out and Weigh in, or Weigh in and Work out?
I am in a weight challenge with some of my friends for mutual motivation. Every week we meet and weigh in, and I usually power walk over to our meeting spot with the dog, which is about 45 min of solid effort. It seems logical that I would weigh less after the walk than before (losing sweat and whatnot), but this is just a…
