Long Hours On My Feet?
I work as a barista at a popular coffee chain. I used to use my long shifts as an excuse to log it as exercise and in return, justify my eating junk while at work. I'm trying to stop logging my shifts as exercise, but I was wondering what the opinion is of those long shifts: if I work for 8-10 straight hours on my feet…

9.5 Minute Mile?
I just recently started getting back into running again after taking a few months off when track ended (granted I wasn't a runner but I digress). MFP has many mile minute options but 9.5 minute doesn't seem to be one of them. Yesterday, I divided the total time I ran by two (half for the 9 minute mile and half for the 10).…

Updating Fitness Profile to Accomodate College?
I recently started college (Crane 2016!), and thus, I have gone from not exercising much (lately, at least. I kind of fell of the wagon) to walking everywhere. Protein Shakes/Smoothies for Someone Who Hates Bananas?
I'm very into the idea of having a shake or smoothie after I work out or as a subsitute for all the water I drink, but nearly every recipe I find calls for using bananas. I'm really sensitive to the taste of bananas and I absolutely hate the smell/taste of them! For other banana haters out there: what do you use instead of…

School Lunches for a Picky Eater?
I'm about to return to school tomorrow, and this is the first time that I have a lunch in my schedule. In years past, I have brought my lunch each day, but often times they were very unhealthy. I only started using MFP and getting in shape this summer, so I've never learned how to plan my lunches accordingly. I've been…
