I'm very into the idea of having a shake or smoothie after I work out or as a subsitute for all the water I drink, but nearly every recipe I find calls for using bananas. I'm really sensitive to the taste of bananas and I absolutely hate the smell/taste of them!
For other banana haters out there: what do you use instead of bananas, or do you just toughen up and drink it anyway?

Just don't use bananas. I've never put fruit in my protein shake ever. The protein powder is tasty enough0

If you're looking for a thicker, shake like consistency, you can add greek yogurt or cottage cheese.0

I think my favorite Protein shakes are with avocado, yogurt, berries and/or flax.
Coffee and protein powder is killer too.
I don't buy bananas. They go bad too fast.0
