Stalled for weeks and I'd just gotten started! Diary public. Advice?
I'm 38 years old, 5'8" tall. To give you some perspective, I am small framed and weighed about 120 through my twenties, which was a size 0/2. In my thirties, at 140 I am a size 4/6. So 140 is my goal weight. I started in January at 176 and by just reducing to 1200 calories or less a day (no exercise), I quickly lost 11…

Leg Cramps!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got Charlie Horses before, but only when I wore heels and tromped up and down stairs all day or something. I had to stop cocktail waitressing when I was 23 because I got leg cramps each night after I worked a shift. However, it's every night now regardless of my footwear or level of activity - and sometimes both legs -…

Plan to break my plateau - is this accurate??
I think I just need someone to tell me I've got this concept correct... I've been stuck right around 145 for many, many months now. The measuring tape is not moving, either. So here's my thought process... The calculators say I need about 1700 calories a day to "live." That is putting in my height and weight (5'7" and 143…

Chia seeds (?)
Anyone know anything about these? Someone recommended them as a "snack' in another thread so I looked up their carbs - 1 net per ounce. Any experience?

"Atkins Breath??"
I had never heard of this before watching the BBC video posted below. Has anyone experienced this?? The video said it's the "infamous side effect." My husband hasn't been complaining, so I guess I'm ok! ha!

Russel Stover "Net Carb" candies
Anyone tried them? Says they are made with Splenda. I can't eat Malatol and some of those fake sugars - they make me very sick. I wonder if these would make me sick, as well? I know I can't have these on induction anyway, but I'm just thinking ahead. Anyone have any experience with these?…

Starting again after years - question
Hi all! I've been lurking in this group for awhile now as I eat down my fridge full of low calorie products, in order to make the switch over to low-carb. I've lost 20 pounds eating 1200 or less calories a day but that has seriously stalled now. So I am going to give Atkins a try (again). I actually did Atkins about 7…
