Hello myfitnesspal Community. I used this app since a few weeks and already lost 12kg (26 lb). I'm 23 years old and from Germany, i would love to see activities from people all around the world and what you do and eat to reach all your goals. If you want to be friends and help each other stay motivated please add me. Thanks

Hi Blexx1, your English good enough for conversation. There is other problem though: this is Russian community and very few people can communicate in English.
Otherwise you are very welcome to be here and be a part of our community0 -

Hi Blexx1. I'm 47 and I'm from Moldova. Russian is my "Mutter sprache", but I"m happy to kill two birds with one stone.
I lost 30kg 20 years ago (from 114kg to 84kg) without great effort. I was working in Greece doing phisical job 8-10 hours daily. Within 4 months my extra weight disappeared as a smoke. At home I gained everything back. On medical examination docs predicted me problem with my heart till my 30 years. (My weight was 116kg, blood pressure 160/120 etc.). I significantly improved my phisical activity but not meals. Having the same 116kg, being in my 47 I run 10K for 1h06m and cycle up to 106K occaissionaly. Blood pressure is 125/80. And no any medicines. But on Chisinau Marathon where I made my 10K, I saw a lot of aged people performed better. This is my motivation - to make 10K within an hour, later to run half-day marathon and who knows... To run faster I have to be lighter. It's first of all good for my joints.
Presently I'm 108kg ( minus 8kg for 46 days) losing about 4kg monthly and optimistically looking forward. And now I take care about my meals.1
