    I made a smoothie last night with yogurt, berries, banana and a truvia. This was in lieu of a bag of chips.
    I didn't expect my sugar to be this high this morning.

    Blame the yogurt! When i used to have a cup of plain, non-fat, greek yogurt and a 1/4 cup rolled oats as a evening snack my fasting sugar would be in the 160-180 (8.9-10) range so i gave it up and now have my yogurt in the morning after my walk.

    Yeah, and I just checked the package. It's sweetened and 3.25% fat. I must have grabbed the wrong one at the grocery store. I don't have it that often, so I guess I better be careful.

    To comment about the yogurt comment above I find that it's more what I have done the entire day before rather than the previous meal only. Last night at 11pm I had 50g of that Icelandic yogurt and a small pear. Take a look at how your entire day was and exercise is HUGE with regards to how my sugar will he. We are all different so it may not apply to you...just maybe another idea. Have a great day all!!!

    Yesterday wasn't too bad,. I'm pretty sure you're right Jane. As long as I'm not in the double digits, I'm happy. I've said this before, two hours after waking up, having 4oz of juice, and a coffee, my numbers are 5's sometimes lower. But I'm very shaky. If I was 4.8' I would really shake.

    Hmmm, maybe there is something to this whole diet and exercise thing. Who Knew? :smiley:

    sounds absolutely delicious, i might have to make that again soon... i do the cooking 6 days or so a week... i make the wife's breakfast m-f and dinner for everyone sunday-friday, although some at least one day is leftovers, sometimes 2 but they count!
