    @DEAN - Sorry to hear you're in pain! Yes, a compression wrap will definitely help as with the NSAIDS, ice and gentle stretching and flexing to strengthen as much as your shins will tolerate it. Good luck, my friend!

    Strength and Stretch class this morning and some home bike riding in the afternoon = 7.43 miles.

    5.15 mile run/walk. Up to 17K steps today, so far, 6K was because my patient last night was very fond of her call bell and her room was one of the furthest away from where I was sitting. Got a lot of steps in at work this weekend, too much action. Did a TRX class this afternoon on three hours sleep and am now trying to stay awake to read a library book that's due back soon. It's been a good day :D

    After 2 days of torrential rain and minor flooding, back on the bike. Lots of debris on the road side, so did some dodging while I was at it. This Winter riding is definitely beating me up more that last year.

    Thanks for the laugh. Yeah, those holiday pounds are stubborn aren't they? In my case I think it has something to do with failing to log my food. I'm pretty sure that's related.

    Dean - I hope your leg gets better soon. I've had shin splints before but never like that. That has to be very painful. :s

    Saw the sun today! But then again it was 1:00 in the afternoon before it burned off enough of the fog to see the blue sky.

    Sun - 6.92 miles
