Interesting. I never dare trying ice cream store brands.
Hy Vee (midwest chain) has some pretty good store branded stuff...I buy quite a bit of it.
Their store brand greek yogurt is comparable to Fage (IMO) - I like it 100x better than Chobani
Truth be told, the real reason I chose it was they had a fuel saver on it this week (when you buy certain items you get a cents off per gallon credit on gas)...I went in intending to get the sea salt caramel Talenti. I'll just get that next time!0 -
1. Pecan pie
2. candy fruit slice, a marshmallow and Talenti - Hazelnut chocolate chip cookie
3. Talenti hazelnut chocolate chip ice cream with a Cadbury creme egg
4. Homemade Grasshopper milkshake
5. Cadbury Creme Egg + Candy fruit slices
6. honey roasted peanuts + chocolate chips (will do better tom)

Day 4: Chocolate cupcake with green icing and sprinkles
Day 5: Another cupcake.
Day 6: Talenti Salted Caramel Pop
Day 7: Talenti Double Dark Chocolate and later Peeps with a Blue Moon
Day 8: Cadbury Chocolate Cream Egg with breakfast. Because Saturday.
And I suspect the second sleeve of Peeps will happen later.
I rather enjoyed the Peeps with the beer. The cloying sweetness of the sugar-covered marshmallows was a lovely contrast to the slight bitterness of the beer. Or perhaps I just had enough beer that I was willing to believe this. I may have to try this again, or have the Peeps with something sweeter. Like SoCo.0 -

That's the one! We live on The Hill!

That looks really good, although usually I'm not a big dark chocolate fan.0 -
Day 8: Raspberry Bismark for breakfast, and 70% cacao chocolate to end the day.0

Interesting. I never dare trying ice cream store brands.
I think we must be cheap, because that's what I usually get. Once in a while I'll get something a little nicer, generally if it's on sale, but most of the time it's Kroger Select, or whatever it's called, for us. I think we're just used to it now.0 -

Day 8: I really wanted a bacon wrapped fried twinkie, but although we heard it existed, we could not find the stand at the rodeo with it. Had to settle for splitting a fried snickers, fried nutter butters, fried smores (with reces peanut butter cup for the chocolate), and fried dough e o's (cookie dough around oreos then battered and fried; the cookie dough gets soft but does not cook). Plus some milky way simply caramel bites.0 -
Day 6: we were visiting my family in KC . We went to a grilled cheese restaurant and got a dessert: s'mores on glazed donut sandwich, later I went to an artisanal chocolate shop. I got these little beauties, which are almost too pretty to eat... They had flavors like chai tea, different wine infused ones, chili...
Day 7: not many sweets today. We went to my favorite Mexican restaurant and had a huge lunch with spinach queso, all the chips and salsa, tacos and a couple coronas. I had a couple lemon Girl Scout cookies before bed so I didn't lose the positive effects of the cleanse...
