Good (the real) Saturday Morning...notice I said MORNING!!! LOL! Finally!!
Ed you surely had me confused...not fair, I hadn't finished my coffee yet!! :)
Ummm To Do List?? Wash Tom E.s laundry...yes, he has laundry too. Maybe wash a load of dark clothes for me? um..
Some kitchen work. Some things need to be put away, and then there's the floor, and cabinets and appliances could use a wipe down, etc. Much to do...not sure how much of much will be done!!

After watching the bazillion video's, and readings, etc I think I can safely say that Keto is not healthy for diabetics. It could lower weight, it may even give some better BS readings.....all at the expense of your heart, arteries, and kidneys. From what I can see, Keto is just Adkins renamed and in a fancier dress.

It's really damp outside. My weather app said foggy. I don't see fog, but misty, yeah...I need to go look out some doors to see if Tom E. would like to come in, and I may as well start my day chores. No gym today. And as I typed that Mr Tom E. came to the window and sat down...so I rapped on the window, and he must have been day dreaming, as he really jumped!!! Poor ole guy.

So, with that I will say

    Hi
I'm home and did not go walking and thus no money was found. The reason is a combination of the rain and the Clock change to Daylight savings time leaving me tired. I suspect a nap this afternoon  The Temperature out the door was 35 degrees. The was in the forecast for overnight into Sunday has arrived. The Total amount forecast for where I am is 0.9 inches.

Howdy all y'all. Now it's REALLY satisfying Saturday! Apparently I was trying to speed up the weekend!

The show started yesterday, and yesterday was the worst for me, work-wise. I was out of the house at 6:30 in the morning, helped with the breakfast for the judges (and volunteers) and then the lunch. We did, at the last minute, get permission to use a small kitchen space in a nearby building, for sink, refrigerator, and a microwave oven, and they opened up some classroom/multipurpose rooms for the judging and hospitality. We have them for the weekend.

I got home for a nap yesterday, and then back even further downtown to a dinner party for the volunteers.

Today I will eventually get down there to set out what snacks there are, make a pot of coffee, and help with the lunch for the vendors.

I haven't promised to be there for anything tomorrow, but I think J has agreed to give a demonstration on mounting orchids to wood, so I might go in with him. Or I might not!
    Hi Ed
That must be a huge help having a kitchen space to use even if it is small. It does sound as if You had a busy day.

When You say mounting orchids to wood I am guessing that You mean as a growing medium or for support or both ?

FWIW I can hear bursts of heavy rain and I can see that it is windy outside too, The birdfeeder is swinging.

Cat Laundry, whatever he lays on for naps ?

I may have asked this before, I know that somewhere on MFP someone mentioned Shampoo to clean shower glass. I tried and I must be doing something wrong.

You are Correct, Although I though that the spelling was Atkins ?

I find that the Keto recipes being posted by Ed are interesting and add variety to a Non keto diet while not spiking blood Sugar. Am I mistaken when I presume that You mean those drawbacks apply to a a 100% Keto diet ?

I would take Foggy or Misty over the weather we are having. I will admit that Monday to Friday the forecast looks good.

Last day of the orchid show and I am not required or volunteered for anything today, though J is so I might go in with him, but his presentation's scheduled time conflicts with the time during which I'd like to nap.

Many orchids grow naturally on trees or even rocks. Growers often try to duplicate the natural growing environment as closely as possible. Here is a short video showing how one man does that.

    Hi Ed
We hit 100% precipitation Sunday, It was done by 11AM Although things were slow drying off from it.

In my humble opinion a nap is a good thing, I might be influenced in that opinion by the fact that my Grandparents took a nap every afternoon and lived a long life which could have been influenced by the daily nap.

    Hello Valerie
I was left tired yesterday which I blame on the switch to Daylight Savings time robbing some of my sleep from me. I am still tired today and have two more clocks to set the new time on, one I need a stool or ladder to reach in the Kitchen where it is over the door to the Dining Room

I saw a news report that California wants to switch to it year around, however they need Federal approval to do it ?

I am waiting and I am hoping to beat the Squirrels to at least some of the two types of berries.

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday!

Nothing critical on the agenda for today. Just rest a bit perhaps. My bad knee (OK, neither one is really all that GOOD, but the right one has the old injury that flares up now and then) has been unhappy for a few days, and I am still getting over some small cold or something. And my left bicep is sore because I got shot yesterday, at the doctor's office, with a TDAP booster.

    Ok, quick Good Morning!
Heading out for ATL in less than 10 minutes! Chiro, Whole Foods, then back out to Duluth and the Honda guys...I want a new 'trunk' thingy, and I want my Philly Flyers vanity plate mounted, and I'll let them do that too. See how nice I am???
Got everything straightened out with State Farm...and the EMT's. It wasn't as hard to do as I thought it might be. I was concerned for my Credit Rating, and also that some of the bills were not paid by State Farm. Was told it was all good.
Tom's out for the day. Sadly its overcast, but not going to rain. He had a great time yesterday, but it was sunny..can you say Cat Nap in the sun???
I don't think my new neighbors dogs will bother the cat. I'm guessing they are indoor furries, other wise he wouldn't be walking them!?!?!?
Hope Ed, that your Dr. chat about your blood work went well! You are one year ahead of me on the TDAP. My hands are in the dirt enough that I'm not about to miss the injection.
Guys, Dr. Pat awaits......(I think unless I'm about to fall apart, this will be my official last 'auto accident' visit. :)

    Later...

    Hello Ed
I would not say I have bad knees neither would I brag about having good knees. Good Knees do not make cracking sounds when You get up from the chair  Part of that could be from the cartilage surgery when back in the 90s I suppose OTOH only one knee was done and they both give off audible cracking noises.

That is one of the reasons I hate shots in the arm, it seems to be sore for several days afterwards :(
Put An Upside-Down Egg Cup In A Bowl
Some, not all of the items mentioned in the description look good to me, so I bookmarked the Video.
Crumble 3 Slices Of Bread By Hand. What Happens In The Oven
Interesting effect, Not that I would follow the recipe just to see the effect. Being a Lazy type I would be more likley to loose fry the Hamburger, drain the oil and then flavor to taste with Ketchup and Sweet Relish and use as is or in (on?) a sandwich. I have done that in the past and likely will again in the future.
Amazing Food Processing Machines That Are At Another Level
I suspect that these are all more than I want to spend. For example a Egg Breaking Machine ? I have hands
Vegetable Peeling Machine, I have a Potato Peeler and hands. Not to mention that we often wash the potatoes and leave the skin on when Boiling them and mash them skin and all.
    German Potato Dumplings (Kartoffelkloesse)
Yikes talk about High Carb
The Secret to Perfect BBQ Chicken Thighs
This is a personal preference of course, But the first part of Perfect BBQ Chicken Thighs is not to use them and instead start with Chicken Breasts

    Have a Good Day

    Hello Valerie
Lots of running around I see. Is the Trunk Thingy the same sort of thing a Bed Liner in a Pickup Truck, A semi hard plastic fitted liner ?

Just curious a Philly Flyers Vanity plate, Does that cause any comments where You are now residing.

OTOH even indoors dogs can get free. The neighbors small dog manages to get out of the house a lot.

    Overcast beats rain

Are You worried about all three, tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis ?

I hope the Doctor visit went well

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 42 degrees. That made me happy as I could shed one layer while walking, that layer was a moderately heavy Sweatshirt. OTOH I was out with my brother doing some running around and I spied 3 corroded Pennies So I did find three cents yesterday late in the moring.

Before I forget Yesterday as I was sitting in the Living room eating my pre walk NS snack so as not to be putting coffee into a empty stomach I saw movement out of the corner of my eye and sure enough there was a Walking Appetite AKA Deer crossing the lawn. Then today on my way to pick up todays part Decaf and part regular coffee I had four of them crossing lawns ahead of me.
