Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! Not much on the agenda today. My arm is still sore.

    Hello!
Today was overcast, but delightfully warm!!! Loved it!
While I ate I watched video's and read articles, and cartoons!
Emmy cracked me up with her Drowned and boiled Baby dessert! I think our Emmy had a few tablespoons of the brandy. She's always perky, but this she was giggly, etc. Great fun to watch.
In my yard I enjoyed seeing the yellow little forsythia blossoms, and tulips that some years bloom, and other years not! I can see the tiny little clusters of baby breath outside my kitchen window...They'll grow and eventually open, hopefully not till I'm home from the beach!
Don't know much news, Glad the Boeing 737 Max's finally got grounded. Will be interesting to find out what made the planes go haywire at the 20-21 mark of the flight. And why only some of the flights but mercifully not all of the flights. ..

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 48 degrees. As I was heading homeward from the walk this morning I got sprinkled on twice. It was not enough to bother putting on my disposable rain gear.

    Hi Valerie
It was warm enough that both the living room and the closed in porch were 77 degrees, That is slightly warm for both of us.

So far the only blooms are the Snow Drops and I see some Hyacinth and Daffodil leaves showing above ground, We are running behind You significantly.

Since I have not watched Emmy yet, No comment, She does seem to always be happy and positive.

I wonder if the 737Max problem is similar to the Airbus problem that caused crashes in the past. As I recall it was caused by a safety feature that the Pilots kept overriding, If they had taken their hands off of the controls the Built in protective features would have leveled out the plane and all would have ended with no problem. IMO new models come with bugs that get worked out sometimes after a crash.

I watch a show called Air Disasters https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2091498/
From watching that show I see that major safety improvements occur once the cause is discovered.

    Have a Nice Day

Well I got out and back without drowning! It was barely sprinkling (after a heavy shower) when I left and stayed that way, barely sprinkling, through my visit to PetSmart, until I got into Publix. Shortly after I entered Publix, the bottom fell out but by the time I had collected what I needed, and paid, it was down to a very light rain, and stayed that way until I and the groceries were safely inside at home.

    I call that a win!

    Good Friday Early Afternoon! :)
Its packing day...I also washed, dried and remade my bed sheets! While I will of course sleep on them tonite, I will come home to clean crisp sheets :). I have at this point 'piles/stacks' of this and that...it will all come together tonite before I sleep! In the morning I can unload the dishwasher, and run the sweeper...and that will be nice to come home to also!
Tom E. has been an insistent whiny hiny this morning! He's napping now, probably wore himself out fussing! Did I tell you that he's learned to 'play' a bit with the feathered cat toy? He's never before been interested in anything 'playful'. So now that he's very near 15 years old he starts?? Crazy cat!

I'm going to see if I can load a short video that I swiped this morning from the internet. Its about a lap full of puppies! :) And no, I never want to 'start from scratch' with training a puppy. Should I ever get a dog, it will be young, but not a puppy. Pups are cute...and destructive!! LOL!

Ok, time to go locate the suit case, my duffle bag, and move the 'food and accessories' from the front room, to a central location. That box is pretty well packed. So, this shouldn't take too awfully long. And the electronic devices won't get readied until tomorrow morning.
I was planning to eat out tonite, but somehow my food stuff has multiplied?? there is enough here to just heat and eat and put the dish and fork into the dishwasher and unload in the morning. :) or :(. Not at all sure!!! I'll eat out when I return...Sweet Tom's has their Potato Leek soup you see..............

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was 48 degrees. There is a breeze blowing that picked up as I was walking resulting a bit of a wind chill. Today's high is forecast to be around 50.

Last night around 8:30PM or 9PM there was a period of heavy rain and wind and lots of Thunder. That makes it as far as My brother and can tell the first thunderstorm here of 2019 unless we slept through a thunderstorm earlier this year.

    Hello Ed
It appears that Your 20% became 100% for Precipitation

Looking at the videos I can say I do not recall ever having had Moroccan Food. Nor Smoothies and looking at the ingredients I suppose it is a smoothie despite my feelings that a smoothie should have fruits in it and that what is shown is more what someone that is juicing would be having.
I have seen what some of the kids are being served for lunch around here on TV and the kindest thing I can think of to say is Yuck !
Endangered Food ? I'll have to look and see what food is endangered. Certain Seafoods maybe ?
Every part of the Chicken, I will pass on Chicken Feet, Necks and heads as well as the innards.

Here is a question, In Atlanta or Georgia are Plastics under attack ? Bans on single use plastics and foam which includes plastic grocery bags are being banned around here. They are pushing the use of those cloth reusable bags for shopping. I am not sure that they are that sanitary TBH unless washed weekly ? My brother asks for Paper in Plastic at the ShopRite when shopping and I can tell he is not the only one as the Cashiers usually have some premade. That Gives the Carrying capacity of a paper Grocery bag with the strength of a plastic bag. We reuse them around the house and if to many build up the paper bag goes into the recycle and the plastic bag goes to the grocery store where they have a collection bin for them.

I see I got my original Sunday post, with videos, up before Roger's final morning post for Sunday.

Now I am wondering, is it even better luck to eat a shillelagh on St. Patrick's day or will the leprechauns curse me to a life of bad luck and poverty?

Whatever the consequence, this shillelagh carrot is now in my largest Crock Pot, under the corned beef. Of course you can't see the carrot now and it may be difficult to see the corned beef, but the carrot is in there, along with a few friends, and some potatoes and onions! I'll cook some cabbage shortly before it's all done.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 32 degrees. The time and temperature sign I passed showed 25 which I suspect was more accurate based on how it felt while walking.

I saw 5 deer trotting down the road near the start of my walk and while I was sitting in the living room I saw a different 5 deer in the front yard nibbling on my lawn.

I guess I could call yesterday's weather forecast accurate where they said a few flakes could fall today and sure enough I saw a few stray flakes while walking.

What can I say, "Pobody's Nerfect" comes to mind, I thought I was early too.
I am somewhat surprised by that Carrots shape, It was my impression that things like that got weeded out before being sold fresh and the less than perfect ones were used in prepared foods ?

    Potatoes

We had Boiled Corned Beef, Cabbage and small potatoes boiled in the same liquid yesterday and that was pretty much the holiday meal.

Today's meat is the second Corned Beef that my brother picked up with the second weeks coupon and baked. I will likley have the CostCo Normandy Mix with it. For Lunch and Dinner.
And I saved a bit of the raw cabbage for the stir fry I made for J.
That Stir Fry looks like it has amongst its ingredients carrots, cabbage, Onions, peppers and Tofu. Am I even close ?

    Have a Good Day

Howdy all y'all. It's magnificent Monday! 4/39 with an expected high of 15/58 and 0% chance of precipitation. Sounds like a pretty nice day. Not much on the agenda, but I might ponder some laundry.

Breakfast was leftovers from last night's dinner and lunch probably will be as well.

You covered all of it except the minced garlic, which would be difficult to spot in the picture! J said it was really good. Since he's having it again for lunch today, I'm glad he liked it. We shared two of the dinner ingredients. Carrots and cabbage.

    Hi
I'm back home from walking and no money was found. The Temperature out the door was showing 34 degrees. There was a bright white orb in the sky lighting my way this morning. With that for much of my walk I was casting two shadows, one from the streetlights and a second equally distinct from the Moonlight.

The Scale looked favorably at me this morning and told me that I was a 1/4 pound under where I was Sunday Morning before overeating the St. Patty's Day foods

    Hello Ed
I had been pondering doing a load of Laundry also until my brother mentioned he was thinking of doing a load Today and I asked him to let me know if his load had enough room for my reflective safety vest which some nameless dummy spilled coffee on when said person was walking and if there was still room the hoodie could use a wash too.

I'll be darned I may be getting better at identifying ingredients
I sure did miss the Garlic, oh well.

Nothing wrong with saving time with leftovers. Yesterday my brother baked some discounted Sausage from his Sunday trip to the market so I stuck in a baking pan with the bacon I had in the fridge. Or to put it another way, why run the oven twice when You can get double duty out of one bake. So now I have precooked bacon I can use to spiff up the NS Chicken sandwich and the NS Hamburger and to add a little to the NS Pizzas. I was afraid that the nice Bacon sandwich I made with some of it along with Slice of 40 calorie bread that I used to soak up the drippings would impact my weight, Evidently the alterations I made to my days foods compensated for that.

Call my taste buds simple but I like a straight Burger with Ketchup and Mayo, or with cheese added or Bacon added. Depending on mood a little Fresh Onion or more Sauteed Onion and even tastier Crispy onions such as onion rings. Toss is some Tomato and or Lettuce depending on mood. Thus I do like the Baconator from Wendy's  I am not a big fan of Pickles and if I buy a burger that has them I tend to pull the pickle slices and eat them separately.
How to Make the Absolute Best Ground Beef Chili
I would likely not mind eating that, OTOH I would not use 6 dried ancho chiles, stemmed, seeded, and torn into 1-inch pieces as the recipe shows. My brother OTOH might leave them in and for sure would remove any beans as to him the only real chili has no beans.

Today's breakfast of hash, which took a while to chop up. More eggs than I usually have for breakfast but I felt I needed to balance the carbs with extra protein and fat. It was delicious.
