Heading out the door shortly. Couple of handles/etc to put on my new lawn/garden tools and then the only decision will be which one to play with first!! :)

Slept super late today. Feel fine now! Cat and I played for awhile...I was still half asleep, called him a 'good doggie'...by mistake. Glad he doesn't understand English.

Everything is blooming over here. Two of the three types of cherry trees, Bradford Pears, (which I did not plant, but there is one in my yard...thanks to Antonio!) Its about 75 degrees, and sunny...
    I've gotta get outside....now!!!

    Later...

Spent too long playing with the new leaf blower..it has a couple of nice features, and it does move leaves, even wet ones!

Think I'm done for the day. at least the outdoor part. Next to load some things in the dishwasher and get that started. I baked some tofu I'd marinated in an Asian mix of Asian condiments and I will use my last 2 slices of bread and make a tofu sandwich with leaf lettuce, thin slices of tomato, and some thinly sliced red onion. This is GOOD stuff! That and a Cara-Cara orange, and a Kanzi apple may well be my dinner!

80 degrees outside today. I'm sure my face is red. And when I went to get the mail, I saw 4 or 5 little yellow blossoms on my forsythia....Mine is a late bloomer, and usually blooms very late in the blossom progression in my yard. So it was a total surprise

    OK...see you tomorrow!

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 41 on the porch. The fourth day of the four forecast days of rain is the heaviest so far. I was dressed in full rain gear except for the insulated boots as I figured they would be a bit too warm. The Waking shoes I wore are somewhat wet, However I do have a second pair I can use tomorrow while these dry out.

The scale was probably lower than yesterday morning, I can not be sure as it has been a few days since I weighed myself. The "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is working really well so far.

    Hi Ed
Nothing like having a easy nothing needs doing day

I am so over the rain what with today being the fourth day of it.

I need to look at this one as it sounds intriguing.

That leaf blower must be very powerful to be able to blow wet leaves.

We do have blooms on the first to bloom bulbs.
I saw some blooms on a forsythia a few weeks back when we had a stretch of warm weather that triggered it into a premature bloom.

    Have a Good Day

Howdy y'all. It's scintillating Sunday! 66 out there now with an expected high of 66. I guess we're already there! 100% chance of precipitation and I can verify that as it was raining as I was preparing my breakfast.

This morning I scrambled a couple of eggs and cooked a small, sliced potato in my StoneWave and added some cheese to it. You may have seen the StoneWave in Mr. White's video showing As Seen On TV items 4 years later. I've had my StoneWave probably for about as long as he's had his. I tend to use it in bursts as I use it for a while and then forget it's in the cabinet and don't use it for a longer while. It made a nice potato side dish for my eggs. I'd swear I have (had?) two of them but only saw the one in the cabinet. Maybe for some reason I stored the other one somewhere else but that doesn't sound like something I'd normally do. I may do a more comprehensive search later to see.

So obviously, I've eaten. I've also cleared the sink but the cats have not yet been fed. They can't be TOO hungry as there was still some of yesterday's kibble in each bowl when I gathered them up at about 7:30 this morning. I'll get to them in a little while.

That meatball sure looked like a meatball to me! Or maybe a ball shaped meatloaf?

I've known for many years that Jesus did not likely look like our classical paintings of him, or the actors usually portraying him. Still, many people will insist that he looked like those paintings just because. People believe what they want to believe most of the time.

I think the biggest mistake in eating at a Chinese buffet is just going to eat at the buffet at all! I know I always eat much more food than I need to, with too much fat, too many carbs, way too much salt, and generally more food than I probably needed to eat for the entire day.

    Good drizzly Sunday morning.
Won't be playing with the hedge trimmer today! Its electric, and I don't want to end up like the video on transparent crisps! (which I loved BTW)
Cat has been out, my coffee is cold and I'm heading for the shower. (Late shower, I should know better than to open these posts from you guys...one hour gone!but at least I know how my tub was made! :)) And I didn't watch Emmy yet. Will save that video for lunch! Lunch, I think will be the same as dinner sandwich last night. Yep, it was THAT good! :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking again and no cents. The temperature this morning was 42 on the porch. The fourth day of the four forecast days of rain was the heaviest so far. Today is forecast to be in the 50s and today through Wednesday is predicted to be dry.
I used the rest of the broth from the Roast Chicken, some more Leftover Rice and some nice slices of the Chicken as a Dinner Entree, Tasty too.

The scale was nicely lower than yesterday morning, again, It seems that the "Time-restricted eating" combined with a 100% NS plan is still working well.

I tend to use things in bursts too, Who doesn't.

I noticed the George Foreman Grilling machine and keep forgetting to use it when I cook Hamburger.

It looked like a Meatball, My problem with that one is the ingredients. I'm a Traditional Italian or Swedish Meatball type.

When I meet friends at a Chinese Buffet I tend to eat the Chicken Broccoli and The Green Beans, and the other proteins. I agree that overeating is so easy at any buffet.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hi Valerie
It sounds as if You do not want Your hair to stand on end from the electric hedge trimmer. It should be Waterproof and double insulated OTOH and unless those protective features are defective You would likely be safe.

    Enjoy the Day

Howdy y'all. It's marvelous Monday! 56 out there now with an expected high of 64 and 90% chance of precipitation.

Not a lot on the agenda today but I do need to get out to the store for some of J's Mountain Dew. While out I'll pick up a few other things on the list.
