Hi! Waiting for this afternoon to warm up just a speck, cuz the wind is blowing like mad, making it feel really cold! (Ok, Roger I can hear you laughing...yes, I DO know what real cold feels like!)
Just need a thing or two, so it won't be a 'big shop'!

Roger I'd thought about 'starting something' with the treat under the door business.. :) So, haven't done it yet..Though it would be funny to see.

Think I"ll head off to the kitchen to make a bottle of my FF Vegan Ranch Salad Dressing, and it will have a chance to get chilled while I'm grocery shopping.

So far today Tom has persisted in staying outdoors...except for two brief trips in to eat. I did try holding and petting and talking to him, but after about10 minutes he hopped down and asked to go back outside :)

Hope you guys are having a good day

I'd like to rant...but am too tired today. I did go to Kroger...hence the rant for tomorrow maybe? No, for now...I very deliberately place purchases on the checkers belt so that all the Freezer stuffs are together. And same with vegetables, fruit, sparkling water, etc...so when I got home of the 7 freezer things I purchased, they were 'distributed' among 5 plastic bags. IDK, I guess I'm being overly sensitive, grumpy old woman, etc. But it is frustrating..
And its not helping that they have been remodeling the store now for 3 or 4 weeks...can't find stuff...like last week could not find the tofu...finally found it today under signage that said,'Biscuits'..!!! Grrrrr! Except that they removed the 'Natural Foods/Health Foods' area and combined it with the other 'usual' food. So that stuff wasn't so difficult to find...but the poor refrigerated stuff is just kinda lumped together here and there with very little rhyme or reason. Hopefully that will improve by next week????? Same hit or miss placement of the Sparkling Water that I buy...interspersed with other water drinks...on about 4 different shelves. And some really tall person 'helped out' over in the bulk section. ...bottom shelf is kegs of nuts, etc. then the rice, and other stuff above that....and finally on the very tippy top...way over my head or reach are the last dispensers of beans, etc. I would have to find a ladder (paused to tend to whining cat, who I obliged with another small can of food, And, some treats...bit me) I think I should go to bed...now!

Hackers have taken down dozens of 911 centers. Why is it so hard to stop them?

There have been 184 cyberattacks on public safety agencies and local governments in the past 24 months, according to a compilation of publicly reported incidents by the cybersecurity firm SecuLore Solutions. That includes Atlanta, which fell victim to a ransomware attack a couple days before the one on Baltimore, scrambling the operations of many agencies, but not the 911 system.

Howdy y'all. It's wonderful(?) Wednesday! 59 now with an expected high of...59? So we're already there. 20% chance of precipitation, with falling temperatures until noonish, then rising through the afternoon and early evening back to 59 or so and then an anticipated low tonight of 35! I expect we'll see that low sometime in the morning actually, maybe around 7:00 or 8:00.

Sink is already cleared. I've had breakfast. The cats are patiently (for the moment) awaiting their breakfasts. But I know when I go in the kitchen to make my next mug of tea that Dinah's chain will be pulled and she'll be in there meowing at me to get moving on the breakfast. But it's not time yet so she will just have to wait.

Sink is already cleared and no laundry to fold. I may get out to the store but if J has enough Mt. Dew then I may just wait one more day. Surely by Thursday whatever dregs of half price Easter candy that may be left won't be anything very tempting. But I need to make sure he has enough Dew, as he's going to Savannah this weekend for an orchid show and needs some to take along as well.

So I may have to go to the store today.

    Hi Ed
Thank You for the Videos, I will have to look later, I'm curious how You can use a toaster wrong

    Have a Good Day

I agree with Your rant TBH, I want all the frozen together, All the Cold together and any Hot foods separate too. That is why either I or my brother pack the bags. We do tend to get Paper in plastic, the paper adds tear resistance from sharp corners and the plastic adds strength and for any green types they are both recyclable here

When they remodeled AKA changed the layout the local ShopRite my brother complained too, Interspersed with trips to the courtesy counter to find out where items were relocated to. My Brother or I have both helped people reach things too.

What a thank you for the treats, Crazy cat :(

Howdy y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! 36 now with an expected high of 66 and no chance of precipitation.

Need to clean yesterday's cat bowls and maybe get out to the store this morning. Dishwasher is running now.

Howdy y'all. It's fantastic Friday! 49 out there now with an expected high of 73 and 20% chance of precipitation.

J is off to an orchid show and will be driving from there up to Kentucky to visit family and do family tax stuff for his mother, and sister, and our nephew.

My iMac and my MacBook are both updated and my Microsoft Surface is currently updating. Guess it's a big update week all around. In a bit I'll get my virtual Windows up and check as it probably needs updates too.

Need to get out to the store after rush hour is over, and get cat food, Mountain Dew, milk, cheese, maybe a few other things.

Was feeling kind of crappy last night so dinner was delivery. We tried Murray's In A Hurry, a deli that we've never tried before, but the delivery charge was only $2.99 and I thought the food was surprising. I ordered veggie spaghetti, veggie lasagna, cheese bread, and brownies. I could have just ordered the spaghetti and would have had plenty of food. Each entree came with two long, supposedly home made, garlic bread roll/sticks, which we really didn't need (and haven't eaten all of yet), and the cheese bread was a decent sized flatbread with plenty of cheese and a nice marinara dipping sauce. J really liked the cheese bread. He didn't like the lasagna, as the noodles were a bit too al dente for his taste but the spaghetti was fine. Both were basically the same dish, just different pasta. A chunky marinara with some FRESH vegetables, mixed with the pasta, topped with mozzarella and baked just to melt the cheese and get it very lightly browned. Quite tasty. And there's a little over half of each dish left for me to eat while he's gone, along with two of the garlic roll/sticks.

I set out a pound of ground lamb to add to the dishes to give them more protein. I can add half of it to each leftover and probably have about 4 meals out of the leftovers.

I finished off the Easter ham this morning, mixed in with some mac and cheese. I plan to soak some yellow eyed peas and cook them with the ham bone while J is gone, or perhaps I will wait until he's back. He may be bringing his sister and one of his cousins back with him, but we'll see. If he does, the cousin might enjoy some of the peas too so I may wait and see if she comes. Or I may just go ahead and eat them with the ham off the bone.

Between leftover delivery and the beans (if I make them) I won't have to do a whole lot of cooking for the weekend, as browning some lamb is very quick and making beans in a crock pot is one of the easiest things to do too.

Well, these cats aren't going to feed themselves so I better get these last cans of cat food opened and serve their royal majesties.

    *UPDATE*

And now my PHONE has a system update to install too! Sheesh!
