    Hi
I'm back from walking and no cents. The temperature this morning was 31 degrees and the snow from yesterday has vanished from the sidewalks, driveways and streets. That snow was done falling by midmorning and we had around a inch on the sidewalk and over four inches on the lawn when I checked with the yardstick.

There is Rain Forecast to fall later in the day and again at some point on Wednesday :(

Howdy y'all. It's marvelous Monday! 53 now with an expected high of 79 and 0% chance of precipitation.

I've eaten, and cleared the sink except for the cat bowls from yesterday. I thought about ham and eggs, maybe with a biscuit, but decided to hold off and maybe make that for lunch or for tomorrow's breakfast. J's lunch can be some of the potato salad and some more deviled eggs, I think, unless he would prefer something fresh, like breakfasty food. If he wants that, then I am pretty sure I'll have ham and eggs for my lunch. And that biscuit. Regardless, I'll have some more of the slaw, as slaw doesn't keep all that well and needs to be eaten up relatively quickly. I think it will be a large portion of my lunch and probably dinner as well today.

I did reserve some of the boiled eggs to make him some fresh deviled eggs. It's rare for me to make them except on holidays, and in their aftermath, though once in a great while I'll make them out of the blue.

The rarity of my making them, and making his grandmother's potato salad, helps to keep them as special treats for him rather than customary, every day type foods. I think he appreciates that and really wants it that way, as he won't get tired of some of his favorite foods then.

While I could use a few things from the store, I think I'll wait until tomorrow or even Wednesday to allow some of the half price Easter candy to disappear.
    Hi Ed
Ham & Eggs, Yum Yum. I had that the other day with Rye Toast rather than a biscuit.

That does sound like a method to avoid buying temptations

Deviled Eggs sounds good, I think I'll take one the hard boiled eggs and make one to go with my Lunch.

    Thanks for the idea

    Howdy y'all. It's terrific Tuesday!

55 now with an expected high of 80 and 20% chance of precipitation.

Lilo doesn't want me typing right now and keeps sticking her face between my hands. Sink is cleared, including the cat bowls. Still need to feed the cats though. Sometime after Lilo clears my lap.

My case of wine that was arriving yesterday didn't arrive until nearly 9:30 last night. I feel sorry for that UPS driver.

Hey! Its evening, are you surprised? LOL!
Had a great afternoon lunch of about 4 hours at Sweet Tomatoes with Marietta!
Home now, last load of clothes in the washer, and I'm ready to start thinking about dinner. Not sure how hungry I am, but this video of Ed's, with the Vegan dishes, makes me want to eat! Everything looked delicious. I could almost smell the mushrooms! Yummmmmm!
Beautiful day here, sunny and warm! Lots and lots of blooming stuff...glad I don't have spring allergies. (I'll get my sneezes in this fall though)

Glad your streets and sidewalks were clear for your walk this morning! My kind of snow!

Tom was happy to come in when I got home, ate his food, and wanted back outside! I was laughing and telling Marietta that Tom has taken up sticking his paw under the door when I'm in the front bathroom showering. She suggested I take a small treat into the bathroom, and when the paw and leg come into the room from under the door, that I drop a little treat into his paw. We'll see how that works. Probably start another bad habit!!! But it will mess with his little brain!

I think I'll watch the weather from our local station, and then have some chili for dinner!

    Later...

    Wowsers, A high of 80 already :(

I wonder if the truck broke down or what. I would feel sorry for the driver too, Delivery volume should not be that high this time of year.

    Hi Valerie
Agreed, That Snow was almost a non event as it did not last that long in time when falling or on the surfaces. Parts of NJ to the north did get 8 inches from it OTOH.

It is too early for Spring Allergies for me, Some years something in the air does make my nose run etc.

You could be starting a bad habit.
    Good Luck with Tom Cat.

Howdy y'all. It's wonderful(?) Wednesday! 59 now with an expected high of...59? So we're already there. 20% chance of precipitation, with falling temperatures until noonish, then rising through the afternoon and early evening back to 59 or so and then an anticipated low tonight of 35! I expect we'll see that low sometime in the morning actually, maybe around 7:00 or 8:00.

Sink is already cleared. I've had breakfast. The cats are patiently (for the moment) awaiting their breakfasts. But I know when I go in the kitchen to make my next mug of tea that Dinah's chain will be pulled and she'll be in there meowing at me to get moving on the breakfast. But it's not time yet so she will just have to wait.

Sink is already cleared and no laundry to fold. I may get out to the store but if J has enough Mt. Dew then I may just wait one more day. Surely by Thursday whatever dregs of half price Easter candy that may be left won't be anything very tempting. But I need to make sure he has enough Dew, as he's going to Savannah this weekend for an orchid show and needs some to take along as well.

So I may have to go to the store today.
