Tom E. Cat had company Sunday I think it was. A medium gray short hair tuxedo cat. Pretty thing. Not sure how that started or ended. Tom was on the roof, as usual, Tux cat on the fence looking up (at Tom??) and finally I got bored watching and put the cat food on the porch, and figured I didn't much care who ate it. Eventually, Tom came off the roof, the visitor had left...so Tom had his lunch. I had sorta hoped the gray cat would hang around and Tom would have another body to snuggle up with this winter...so much for what I wanted!!! I've seen that cat before, it looks healthy, etc. I suspect its one that the 'old lady' a street over feeds. I got that info from the Animal Control guy the day I found the raccoon sleeping on my back porch. Hope the old lady is well, and able to continue feeding 'her' cats. The Animal Controll talked like there were 'quite a few' that she was feeding, and that they were trying to help her get all her cats neutered. There was also a black one for awhile around here, that I suspected was also from her house. Haven't see that cat....all black...green eyed! Long-ish haired.
It appears that Deshi is closed on Monday and only opened for dinner the other days of the week, opening at something like 4:00 on weekdays, and 2:30 (maybe) on Sunday, so on a Sunday I guess you might be able to get a late lunch there. But I'd call first to make sure they are open, as I'm not 100% sure on those hours.
Maybe one of the cats will come and start hanging out more with Tom.0 -
Hi Ed
I keep seeing people mentioning Shingles Vaccine, That makes me wonder if I need it or would it only make sense if I had symptoms ?
I broke up the Tetanus Shot and the Flu Vaccine so they were a week apart, I wonder if I should have had both at one time ?
If you have symptoms it's too late for the vaccine. And you don't want to have Shingles symptoms. I'd say you should probably get the new, improved vaccine. I understand it's two shots separated by about 6 months.
I don't know if the Tetanus and Flu shots are incompatible or not, but I'm sure the pharmacy could advise you on that question.

Ok, just to say 'HI'....
Chiro visit was good, she said she'd see me in a month. Came home, no Ted time. He will be here at my house on Saturday...
The hearings, in my opinion Roger were not blah, blah, blah... I appreciated what Dr. Ford did and said, maybe cuz I'm a girl???maybe cuz I've been there. And Kav came out like a bull in a china shop.all bluff and bulling all loud. The old If I can yell louder than you I win tactic. It was disgusting. The look on his wife's face was telling IMO. You don't have to go back and look, its the same look that Melania has for the POTUS Stony faced, slit eyed look... The old 'if looks could kill' look!!!
Heading out now to Walmart to return 2 items from yesterday...will come back here later...
Loved you assessment of your 'running' abilities compared to your dishwasher!!!! Bout the same as my running abilities when 'running to the grocery'.... LOL!!

It was a good trip to WM...the line for returns was long, but I just listened to my Audible book...no problem. They refunded my items in cash, and I walked back into the store, and found the two items, in the smaller...smaller! smaller, (LOL!) sizes that I needed. No complaints there!
The back side of my subdivision showed the work goes on. Not an actual 'repaving'...more like repairs and another team grinding the surface. I just made sure to come home the long way to avoid them.
Working on my list for tomorrow. Maybe even a trip to the gym..and in the evening a trip to Olivia's gymnastics. and another 90+ degree day. We hit 90 today, first time since the 1960's says the weather bureau. hmmm, thats saying a lot.
Tom's had his dinner. I hope he really liked it...it was fish..and I can still smell it. Yuck!
Later...
So Ed did you get your text from POTUS? Ted and I got ours. or (: ???0 -

Not a lot on the "required" agenda today. Need to get yesterday's cat bowls cleaned up and feed the cats. I'll look into that last in a bit.
Today's forecast high is 80 or possibly higher. Even Flip phones like ours can get notifications not just smart phones like the news broadcasts had said.

I find that I have no tolerance these days for political things. You must be seeing things better than I, about all I saw was that Kavenaugh (Spelling ?) looked angry at the accusations.
Heh, Yup I seem to be slower than in past years.GardenKatGardens wrote: »It was a good trip to WM...the line for returns was long, but I just listened to my Audible book...no problem. Oops, Wrong size, I had wondered why the returns. To be honest when they are done grinding sometimes the ride is smoother than the the old deteriorated surface
I do not even like the fishy smell from the cans of Tuna my brother eats.
Enjoy the Gymnastics

Howdy all y'all. It's thrilling Thursday! I need to find something besides thrilling to describe Thursdays. Hmmmm. Must ponder that.
67 with an expected high of 90 and 0% chance of precipitation. Need to get yesterday's cat bowls cleaned up and feed the cats before the starve to death. Hah! I also should really try to get out to the grocery today. I'm not, per se, OUT of food, but some items have gone critically low and I need to restock.

And to go with that ice cream how about some cake? Looks tasty, but maybe not. No hummingbirds were harmed in the making of the cake, as far as I know.

Tonight's cheesy white chili tater bite casserole. Didn't get to the grocery today as I had a headache so I had to let Edwierdo...er, Eduardo, improvise from what was available. The result was quite nice and will go into my permanent mental recipe file.

Hi
I'm back home from walking and No Money found. The Temperature out the door was 62 degrees and nicely comfortable for my walk.
Apparently there were rain showers around the area in NJ, None at the house OTOH.
On the homeward leg I did see four Deer that due to where I was walking next to a high chain-link fence and homes on the other side of the street I ended up herding them up the road ahead of me.
