Howdy all y'all. It's terrific Tuesday! Warm with no chance of precipitation. I might get out for a little shopping if I can ascertain that I actually have any money.

    Hi Ed
I know I have some money, and I am a week behind getting to the bank for the money I take out of the Social Security money.

It seems that the Oncologist likes to look at the results of the Catscan and MRI so today off I go to the Hospital to get a disk for each. Either I will get one for him and one for my records or I'll have to copy them here at home.

The Hernia has turned out to be a mixed blessing, without the Catscan to confirm that the Other issue would not have been detected this early...

Sounds like you will be in good hands with the Doc that you will be seeing. Wishing you the very best. It is 54 degrees outside, The forecast high is in the 60s. I heard overnight rain hitting the Window AC. While I was picking up the disks with the Scans I also decided that just in case I should get a copy of the blood work they did at the hospital.

I hope it was discovered early, I'll know better Tuesday.

My brother cooks all his meals and I either Microwave things or on occasion have take out / Fast food. By eating careful yesterday I had Wendy's and by being careful what and how the scale was kind to me this morning. Or to put it another way the Bun(s) get discarded, No Fries etc.

Thanks for the offer, However and this may sound strange I hate being on the phone even with my brother and Sister. In person no problem, I'm weird ?

I appreciate the kind thoughts. I have decided to ignore thinking about it until I see the doctor Tuesday. Sort of a what will be will be type of thinking. It lets me sleep so...

Howdy all y'all. It's wonderful Wednesday! It's supposed to get pretty warm, with a 20% chance of rain. I may need to get out for a few things, including gas, as I had to drive J to the airport this morning. I have been up since 4:00 for that purpose. A nap is definitely desired for later.

Lilo is wondering why I didn't make myself any breakfast. Little does she know, I had a fast food (Bojangle's) breakfast on the way home.

I hate being on the phone too. I can do it, and often had to for business calls and such, but it still just gets under my skin. I do everything I can to minimize any requirement to be on the phone. Texting is almost as bad.

When people want to call just to, as it were, "hang out" over the phone, I will run out of things to say almost instantly, thus drying up the conversation, so any expectation that I would keep up my end is quickly shattered.

    Good Thursday Morning!
Not quite bright sunny morning, but getting there. Today looks to be busy too. Yesterday I played "Beat The Clock"...(remember that TV show?)...from gym to grocery, to home and 4p. to talk with Jack. (which you guys would hate, and poor Jack would have to keep himself company for his 90 minute commute on Tuesdays  )

Roger, (and you too Ed) I'm glad you 'came clean' about phone convo. I guess I'm just 'bi-modal' which I just made up). ANd upon looking up Modal, I see is not the correct usage of Modal... I could be bi-modality...except that sounds stupid. LOL!
Texting can be a quick way to communicate something, but these long 'ping pong' type texts drives me crazy too. You got that much to say??? pick up the phone!!!

Today, gym, possible load of laundry, gas the car, etc. And unless I hear otherwise, Olivia will be doing gymnastics tonite. So then there's that....

I need to watch some video's today...I'm getting way behind, and from Roger's added input, I see I would like to watch about 8 of them from the past several days....I'm seeing my neighbor packing the moving truck...Its bitter sweet for me...I truly hate to see them leave...and I totally understand why, and I know how exciting this is for them...

    Hello Ed
Today is shaping up to be the warmest day of the week according to the weather people.

Hmm... When I had to do that for Mom, I used to do all my errands on the way back from the airport. Gas Stations and some open overnight grocery stores were enough and that way I saved a extra trip with the car. I also picked up Breakfast on the way home. The now closed Texas Weiner had a good breakfast deal. Three Eggs, Home Fries and Meat. I generally got Pork Roll which was hand sliced off of the Roll of Pork Roll. One of the other things I liked was that he did not try to cook with almost no oil, it had enough oil for the salt to stick instead of bouncing off. Then he sold out and the new owner used a meat slicer for the meat and less of it and went to a near oil free cooking and the salt did not stick to the Eggs and Potatoes so I stopped going there.
How is the BoJangles food ?

My Brother and I are complete opposites that way he can talk over an hour to someone on the phone or Neighbors. I did not care for handling phone calls when I working either.
Texting, Whats That. I had to figure out how to do it when the hospital kept texting me and since with this plan every text costs money I had an incentive to do it. Of the three Cell phones in the house this is the only one that can receive or send text messages. My sister prefers to text vs email, Why ?

As I understand it Bi-Modal would mean freight shipped via two different methods such as loading a trailer and putting that on a train and then unloading the trailer at the other end where a truck would finish its trip. I could be wrong too.

A simple text exchange such as I'm running late don't hold dinner and a reply, OK, Thanks is one thing otherwise pick up the phone and talk

I hope there was Gymnastics and that You enjoyed it.

8 of them, hmm... I have been watching all of them at least until I am far enough to know I have less than zero interest in the subject matter. Sometimes the videos on the right look more interesting.

TGIF!! to us old retired people. It tickles me to pieces that my body/mind is still somewhat geared to working schedules...like "Yea, its the weekend". Heck most any day on the calendar is 'weekend' anymore!!!

"LED cellphone, tablet and laptop screens do not pose a risk of eye damage because their luminosity is very low compared to other types of lighting, Francine Behar-Cohen, an ophthalmologist and head of the expert group that conducted the review, told journalists." Thanks Roger...I've heard all the hype about blue light...and I did wonder. That paragraph pretty much tells it. Since I sleep so easily, the circadian rhythm is not a real issue for me.

And....here comes one of the pick up trucks. Can't tell if its recycle or trash...ah, now I can see that it is recycle truck. I don't know why that matters to me!?!?!?

We did have gymnastics last night. Will have another next Thurs, and then done for the summer for sure, and likely forever. O has reached the 'age limit'. Though she does work parties for Miss Lisa, and I think I heard correctly that will entitle her to also use the classes? or maybe just the equipment??? not sure which..

Almost dressed, and hope to be out the door soon...some weed eater stuff I want to get done today, as Ted is cutting grass tomorrow morning. So, will do the edging in front of house, and the back will knock down anything that I can get to... like my pebble pathway, etc. I should also finish transplanting the black mondo, but I think I may wait and do that tomorrow, while Ted runs the lawn mower. :)

Hope everybody has a good Friday, and is looking forward to the weekend.
Oh, and I double checked 'modal' and modality..we are both correct Roger. I didn't know about the word as 'freight shipped'...so I learned something. Which I try to do each day. :) 'try' is the word! LOL

    Later...
