I have posted more images and humorous images

    Hi
I did some more walking this Morning. When I was getting ready to go walking today it was 41 on the front porch, 45 on the Local News12 Channel and the room was a whopping 63, I did turn the heat on so I would come home to a more comfortable temperature :)
Today's High is forecast to be in the 50s, There goes the heating bill :(

    Hi Val
I would not fault anyone for donating to either party, The rest of that is wrong except I do not even understand the last one that says
"Threatened to Raise Pizza Prices to keep shareholders happy"
Could You explain what that means for me please ?

The Little Caesars does seem to be a much better person. The only one close is Papa Johns, the Little Caesars is a lot further so I can walk to only one. I will say that I have never had Pizza from either one so I have no way to compare them to each other or local Pizza Places, Which are in walking distance :(

Thanks For the feedback and have a nice day

    Some more humor today

    Hi
I did some more walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 56 on the porch and 58 on the cable channel. I wore a light long-sleeve shirt, Hoodie and should not have worn the gloves I wore as they were to much.
It must have rained overnight as everything was wet outside this morning, It also felt humid, luckily no rain while I was out walking :)

The only thing I need from the Grocery Store is a loaf of the 647 bread and My brother will be there today so he will pick that up for me.

I was out the door an hour early due to the time change, Oh well :(

Hi all. Roger-such a diverse set of news announcements...I wanted to laugh at some but that’d be inappropriate for others. Some really scary stuff with the killer germs and the missiles. On a good note, Prince the white dig i was fostering got adopted! My roommate already was going to drive to Indiana for vacation...so she’s driving him to his new home in West Virginia. So happy for him and them...he’s such a good boy. My incision continues to do well. And yes, work is crazy. Today is Sunday—I worked all morning then went grocery shopping—FIVE work calls while shopping. Sigh. But on a good note, i had thought i pissed off an Exec VP...he called me to apologize to me and tell me that next time he won’t wait until the last minute. (I’d previously had a good working relationship with him, but this time i was rather, um, direct. But all is well there.) 90 degrees here right now...but Wednesday the high is supposed to be 62! We’ll see.

I was being hit with a mist while walking and at this moment it is still a dark and dreary day outside.

    Hi Val
I found the news interesting in different ways too.

    Good work getting prince adopted.

It sounds as Your health and work are doing better. Yea!

It must have been hard to shop with the distractions, That could cause me to forget something.

That is a large change, OTOH our forecast high is 70 today and 40 by the end of the week. Stay Comfortable

Hi. On Saturday (the day before that Texas mass shooting), I spent the day 5 miles away from that church. I passed by the schools where those kids attended. So sad for the community. On Sunday, i took a car-full of donations to Goodwill. Trying to go through stuff and only keep what we need. Trying to make more space for one of the young adults that used to live here to return in about a week. Still lots of stuff to sorr through. My incision is healing well. Worked 11 hours yesterday, until i just couldn’t anymore. So much to do. Take care, Val

    Hi
I did some more walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 37 on the porch and 42 on the cable channel. I wore a Sweat shirt, and Hoodie and used heated gloves. The backyard was 50 degrees when I arrived back home. This room was 61 degrees so I have turned on the heat. There is rain in the forecast for this afternoon despite it being Sunny outside currently

I voted on the way to pick up my morning coffee, I was the second voter at the section that covers my area and name.

    Hi Val
It is sad and what else is sad is that there was a failure and the Military should have forwarded the Bad Conduct Discharge and jail records to the feds to be entered into the databases which would have stopped him from legally buying weapons :(

That community may eventually recover, but not for many years.

We generally donate through the Salvation Army bin at the recycle center.

Please be careful not to get so tired Your health in impacted.

San Antonio is 100 miles from the Mexico border...major highways come right through here, so I’m not surprised about border security surveillance. This morning there was a report of an emergency situation on an incoming plane...but i was too busy to watch the news so I never heard what the situation was. Tomorrow our high will be in the low 50s!!! Then it will bounce back up...but it’s a start. I put a teeshirt on my chihuahua. Work was long today (again). Had another angry VP try to get me to not follow company policies. Nope. She really got indignant. Nope. That takes a lot out of me. I documented the conversation for my boss and she raised it as a concern. Sigh. My foster dog, Prince, the white one got delivered to West Virginia today! So happy for him to finally be home!

    Hi
I did some more walking this Morning + 1 Cent. The temperature this morning was 38 on the porch and 39 on the cable channel. I wore a Sweat shirt, and Hoodie and used heated gloves. It is now 48 degrees in the backyard.

The latest forecast I saw last night shows Friday's Overnight lows at 25 degrees which is colder than what they were showing Monday :(

    Hi Val
I suspect that The plane emergency was this one.
    http://komonews.com/news/local/watch-jet-engine-catches-fire-while-taxiing-at-sea-tac
Jet engine catches fire while taxiing at Sea-Tac
SEA-TAC AIRPORT, Wash. -- A jet engine caught fire while taxiing at Sea-Tac Airport Tuesday evening.

Video from Twitter user @jasonavbc shows flames coming from the engine on a Hawaiian Airlines jet as it passed near the terminal, then went out.

Officials with Sea-Tac Airport said the flight was ferrying in from Everett with only the crew on board. The landed safely and the fire was extinguished. No one was injured.

The plane was towed to a hanger and will be inspected to figure out what caused the engine to catch fire.

It makes me wonder why a VP would want to have You not follow company policies ?
I am sure it made for a stressful day.

One bright note is that Prince got delivered safely

    Cheers

    Gracious!! Hello all!!

I am so glad you missed me! I have been going crazy and out of kilter without my computer!! I have missed this column and the posting and humor and checking in!! When I turned off my computer last Thursday or what ever day it was, and brought it up the next morning, all I got was a black screen. I could do nothing to get it to come up. I rebooted, turned it off, and tried everything to no avail. So Friday, off it went to Best Buys for fixing. It was under my contract for maintenance, so no charge. Boy was I lost! I had bought a tablet so if this happened I would still have computer access, but it has been a year or two since then, if not longer. I could get into my banking, amazon, and google, but my original set-up was so long ago, a few passwords were only stored in the computer. My e-mails just buffered and I could not remember google account password or facebook, or this one. So glad to get back!

I spent a few days just running with one thing or another. I had to go to the vet, and get the tires checked on my car. Church was crazy and long, due to some meetings and also small group Sunday nite. On Tuesday my daughter and I ran to Huntsville to see the 2017 tour of the revival of Les Mis, which was fabulous again!! We left at 12 noon and got back at 2 in the morning. It is only 3 hours to Huntsville, but we also wanted to stop for an early supper at their German restaurant, the Old Heidelburg. It was very good, and we also wanted to find the center before dark. I only left the house today to get the computer, but I am totally wiped out!! Still catching up with reading!! Jan :)
