    Good morning;
Yesterday I found $2.04 in the parking lot at SoWa Market. When we got out of the car I saw a penny on the ground, picked it up saw another one and then another and so on. We followed the money trail. :) Pennies, nickels and dimes.
It was a beautiful day, we walked 5.8 miles around the market and wandering around Boston.
Today I have already washed and waxed the dinning room floor. I am just waiting for the wax to dry, so I can put the furniture back. I may go to the local mall today and walk around and window shop. Tomorrow I am back to work. :(
    Have a great day! :)

    Hi
I did some walking this Morning and still + 0 Cents, Oh well. The temperature this morning was 56 on the news channel and 52 degrees on the front porch and back yard. Once again I wore a Long Sleeve Shirt and wore lightly insulated gloves due to the temperature :)

I chilled the Turkey Breast, sliced it and Used a 3 Ounce portion between two slices of the 647 Italian bread with a smear of Miracle Whip and slices of Really tasty ripe Tomato from the Garden, Delicious.

We Baked two Loafs, Loaves?, of Sweet Potato Bread yesterday and Gave one away and have one left.

Once again not much on my agenda for today. Maybe I'll kill time on that there Internet Thingy once again :)

    Hi Irene
    Congratulations on the steps.

I have not felt the need for a hoodie so far, At the present temperature my ears are fine, I feel it in the fingers, hence the Light gloves. When I say light gloves, they are leather with a red felt lining that I bought many years ago and they fit really well. I wish I could find a second pair like these TBH.

    I would be happy too

    Hi Joanne
That is how I found 8 pennies the one day, laid out like a trail. In Both occasions, Yours and mine, I suspect that someone has found out the expensive way that a pocket has developed a hole in it :)

I am guessing not a Paste Wax buffed in when You say waiting for the wax to dry ?

What a walking distance, You make me feel like a piker only going around 3+ miles a day :(:)

I'm sorry to hear You go back to work tomorrow, All good things come to a end however.

    Enjoy the Walking today

I walked over to the repair shop and picked up my car, The passenger side Window regulator broke Sunday. I noticed that the window had slipped down and that it did not go up or down. I ended up pushing it up and using Painters tape to hold it up as Painters tape leaves no residue when removed.

    Hi Irene
I did not get all my steps in, maybe later on...
I did walk a circuitous route to get my car and I was still a 1/2 hour early so I ate breakfast nearby the repair shop. I had two Eggs scrambled well, a small amount of the Hone Fries and toast. I had told them to cut the amount of the Potatoes back to around 1/4 and it appears they forgot :( Oh well most of them stayed on the plate which is a waste to me.

You are rocking it. So Your training for the 10K walk is going well I see :)

    Hi Joanne
If I said I always look at the windows when I park as I have been known to hit the wrong button by not looking when I reach for them. Silly me not wanting to take my eyes off of the road to look sideways :)

We are forecast to possibly get some rain from the remnants of Irma today with a higher probability for later in the week.

Keeping busy really does make the time go by better.

I do not want to ask for no Home Fries for one reason I like a taste of Potatoes with scrambled egg, Does that make me strange, I do not know, I years gone by I would sometimes make a Mashed Potato or Baked Potato or Boiled Potato sandwich on white with Butter spread on the bread. Warm to still hot Potatoes naturally.

I may be weird as I used to like to take Thanksgiving leftovers and heat the skillet with some butter in it. Put some of the bread Stuffing, Potatoes, Corn or Peas, Turkey and of course the home made gravy and then heat them until they started to crisp and have that as a Dinner. I'm sure there were no calories in that concoction or the Potato Sandwiches :)

Have a Good Time at work, Hopefully the time will fly by

    Hi Irene
I'm sorry to hear that Your MW died :(
I use a 700 watt Microwave here. I just use a table to convert times from the 1100, 1000 watt times on foods to see how long to heat the food in the 700 watt Microwave. The size is fine for us, we do not do much else beyond heating or defrosting.

The fanged, faceless sea creature that washed ashore during Harvey has been identified
By Lindsey Bever September 14 at 3:35 PM

A sea creature identified as a possible a fangtooth snake-eel on a beach in Texas City, Tex.

Tighe, an eel expert, told Earth Touch News that the creature was most likely a fangtooth snake-eel, or Aplatophis chauliodus.

Fangtooth snake-eels live in burrows 100 to 300 feet down in waters stretching from the Gulf of Mexico to French Guiana, “with only snout and eyes exposed, darting to feed on other fishes and crustaceans,” according to FishBase, an online database for fish species.

Other possibilities? Bathyuroconger vicinus or Xenomystax congroides.

The Sun is shining and the sky is currently cloudless, Temperatures are forecast to be above average today and for a couple more days as they have been for the last couple of days :)

Thursday I had my brother pick up some food from the hot foods section of the ShopRite. After he called with the selection I ended up with tender tasty Roast beef slices and some Slices of Pork Loin. When I looked at the receipt to see what I owed I noticed that one was 0.23 pounds and the other was 0.24 pounds. He could not have gotten closer if he had been trying which he was not doing :) The Pork Loin had a slice if a decent sized Mushroom in with it. I used them as a protein for Lunch and Dinner Friday.

British police make 'significant arrest' in London subway terror attack
By Morgan Winsor, Sep 16, 2017, 7:49 AM ET

    UPDATES: WHAT WE KNOW NOW
18-year-old man arrested Saturday in connection with terror attack on London tube.
ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack.
An apparent bucket-bomb explosion rocked a London subway train Friday morning.
The terror attack is the sixth in Britain this year.
The blast sent 29 people to the hospital.
A manhunt is underway for perpetrators, with no arrests yet.
The threat level has been raised to "critical," meaning an attack is expected imminently.
Witnesses described a ball of flames and a loud explosion.
Police said the improvised explosive device used did not fully explode.
    _______________________________________________________________

An 18-year-old man was arrested Saturday morning in Dover, England, in connection with Friday's London subway terror attack, which ISIS has claimed responsibility, police announced.

The man, apprehended by Kent Police in Dover's port area, was arrested under section 41 of the U.K.'s Terrorism Act, London Metropolitan Police said in a statement. The man remains in custody at a local police station. He will be transferred to a south London police station.

"We have made a significant arrest in our investigation this morning," Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, Senior National Co-ordinator for Counter Terrorism Policing, said. "Although we are pleased with the progress made, this investigation continues and the threat level remains at critical."

Basu added, "“This arrest will lead to more activity from our officers. For strong investigative reasons we will not give any more details on the man we arrested at this stage.”

It was a little smokey when we got to the rental and lingered a bit in Yosemite Valley the next day...also very hot, 90s. Friends from college came to stay for a couple of nights, so we hung around the town of Mariposa for a day, and then bbq'd for dinner. The next day we took a ride out on Tioga pass....it was cool high in the mountains, 60s and 70s, with gorgeous scenery. The next day we headed back to Sacramento....stopped at a great restaurant in Lodi, Dancing Fox Winery. Flight took off at 6 a.m. Thursday...hotel had a power outage when we woke up. Fun trying to get out of there in the dark....luckily they had the backup generator going when we were leaving so could take the elevator. It was nice to get away, and to see old friends. :)
Went to a bridal shower yesterday. That was nice.
    Have a good evening. :)

Yesterday's post, I forgot to hit send.
    Good morning;
We were out all day yesterday. Hubby found a hood and another part that he was looking for.
We then stopped at a flea market and an antique store. We ended up finding a few drinking glasses that we had been looking for. We have an old set of dishes that belonged to my mother. She got them years ago at a supermarket promotion. They are called Colonial Heritage. There we no glasses with the set, so we have been looking for them.

    Good afternoon;
Just finished watching the football game, Patriots won.
This morning we went out to breakfast, then to a flea market and then walked along the Cape Cod Canal.
Vix-I am glad you had a good trip.
Roger-All those cents add up. My little can is about halfway full.

I posted some humor and a link this morning

    Hi
I did some walking this Morning and still + 0 Cents, Oh well. The temperature this morning was 71 on the news channel and 68 degrees on the front porch and back yard thermometer, humidity is still forecast to hang around for another day or two :(

Once again it is a cloudy day with no Sun showing. I suspect that the clouds are related to Jose's approach and Tuesday the forecast indicates rain and wind due to Jose's passing off of the NJ coast.

Interesting ? Link, I found it interesting :)

After visit to Confederate monuments, 5 Richmond teenagers from low-income housing share thoughts about removal
From staff reports Sep 16, 2017
Friday morning, Richmond Cycling Corps took five of its members, ages 16-17, on a tour of the Confederate monuments in Richmond.

The purpose, according to a RCC Facebook post, was so the young men, all from Section 8 public housing, could "formulate their own opinions" about the monuments before Saturday's expected rally at the Lee monument by a small pro-Confederate group out of Tennessee and "the media frenzy that's going to ravage through Richmond tomorrow."

After the tour of the monuments, 17-year-old Daquan Morton, with input from the four other RCC youth, wrote what RCC posted on its Facebook page Friday night, which appears below.

    Have a Great Monday

    Hi Vix
I'm glad You enjoyed Your trip...

I would have thought that the Hotel would also have emergency lights as well as a backup generator.

It is always nice to see old friends

    Hi Joanne
I have found that if or when I hibernate the computer a page that I had hit send on will show up as unsent. I do not know why or how so I just make sure to Post and then close the page.

Great news, a double find is always a good thing.

Were the glasses designed to go with the set of dishes?

I recall when Grocery stores and Gas stations did useful giveaways.

    Hi Irene.

I throw my finds into a decorative plate. Possibly a snack plate, I'm not sure as I inherited it. It is approaching the rim.

    Have a Nice Day
