    Good morning.
Irene, good luck with the rest of the weight loss. I hang some of my paintings in my house, the rest are starting to stack up!
Jo, going up into the eighties again today...supposed to cool down to normal 70s by the end of the week.
Roger, sorry you're under the weather, hope you feel better soon.
No plans for today here either. Doing some laundry and will putter around the house...maybe head out somewhere later.
    Happy Sunday!

Please excuse the long winded post below :)

    Hi
I did do some walking this Morning easing back into it and thus I found 4 Cents. The temperature this morning was 72 on the news channel and 68 degrees on the front porch and back yard thermometer, Daytime high temperatures are forecast to be well over the norm for the next day or two, The Forecast high for today in the upper 80s, Sundays highs were 90 to 91 in the hot parts of NJ :(

Roger-I hope you are feeling better today.
Irene-I am planning on eating some of the apples as is and maybe making apple crisp with the rest. We only picked a small bag and split it.
It was still pretty wet when we left home. The place where we picked apples was about an hour away. Everything was dry there and it didn't look as if they got any rain. My daughter and I had on long pants and Welles, everyone else there had on shorts and sneakers or flip flops.
Vix-It was warm here too, supposed to be in the 80's again today.
I don't have anything planned for today, just puttering around the house doing odd jobs.
    Have a good day. :)
    Hi Joanne
Indeed I am feeling better today.

Apple Crisp, is that like a Crust-less Apple Pie where the crispy topping from a pie is stirred in? I looked up images of it and they looked so delicious :)

good morning , Roger I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Is it a cold or flu ? hope you start to feel better soon. Well I called N/s to see why I was struck at the same pound I would loose it and then regain it back. He said I wasn't eating enough so now I make sure I have my afternoon snack also I am drinking my water lets see if that helps . I only have about 12 more pounds I want to loose. Vix what do you do with all your paintings? Jo enjoy your apples.

    Hi Irene
I am not sure whether I would call it the Flu or a severe Cold, It did knock me for a loop no matter what You call it :)

If I said I made the same call a couple of years back and that was their advice also, And it worked ! My weight started coming off again.

Thanks You for the well wishing, It seems to have worked.

    Hi Vix

    Hi
I went walking this Morning for 150 minutes. The temperature this morning was 74 on the news channel and 72 degrees on the front porch and back yard thermometer, It is still somewhat humid outside, However The humidity and Temperature are forecast to be better later today into the weekend as a cold front moves through the area.

Why the long time walking, I went for a Haircut and since I was early I stopped for two scrambled eggs, two slices of Whole Wheat toast and had a few of the really crispy home fries to kill time and coincidentally get my breakfast in on time :)
I walked around 75 to 80 minutes each way and was out of the house 4 hours or a bit more. iPod is on charge currently as it told me low battery when I was nearing the house. It will play for at least 90 minutes after that FWIW.

    Have a Great Thursday

The FitBit says I am nearing 14K in steps, 5.31 miles and 1896 calories expended so far :)

I am in the basement right now and have a small AC unit running. When it dies I do not seem to be able to find one that will fit that window anymore and will have to look into having it fixed despite the expense :(

Here is a suggestion if they will not take it call the Lupus people or Goodwill I do not think they are as picky as long as it can still be used. I understand that even worn out clothing has some value to them as they bundle it up and sell it that way as scrap cloth.

I was not super happy walking either, however as I was out the door a little after 6AM and having had my Breakfast and was having my haircut by 8:15 the only hard part was when I was in the Sunshine. Otherwise there was enough breeze to be OK.

Congratulations on the Pound drop !

I try and get the Banana Cream, Chocolate, and the Vanilla ready to drink from CostCo so if I am running late I can just grab and go, Otherwise I have Strawberry, Vanilla and Chocolate shake mixes that I add sweetener to for lower cost. The Immersion blender works well with them.

Did I mention I picked up a Hamilton Beach Toaststation?
It has a two slice Toaster on top, and a Toaster Oven section below so it can do both well. Since I went that way I do have to watch the Toaster oven foods as it has no timer.

    Hi Irene
I had put on a light Long Sleeve Shirt this morning and was thinking I should have used a sweat shirt.

It was comfortable walking other than I should have dressed a little warmer.

I stopped at Duncan Donuts and they had a display saying "Happy National Coffee Day" Buy a Medium or larger and get a free Medium Coffee. If I had known ahead I would have taken My Yeti, Bought a Medium and dumped it and the freebie into the Yeti for my walk.

It does take time to get back to walking, I could feel it in my legs today from yesterdays walk :(

    Congratulations on going further
