Thanks, all. Got my dressings out this morning. Still some stitches left, so I have to go back again next week. Also, my teeth are stained and I still can't fully brush them....have to use a q-tip around the areas that had surgery. Anyway, it's progress! :)
Drizzly gray day today, a little cooler. No special plans.
    Happy Wednesday, everyone. :)
    Hi Vix
Progress of any type is good.
Hopefully the staining cleans up easily and quickly

    Wishing everyone a good day.

So far so good as far as a good day, my errands outside the house are done.
Bank, Grocery Store to return something for my brother as I was driving past it and CostCo. Everything is inside the house, The Frozen is split between the freezer and freezer section, Fruits are in the refrigerator, etc.

The sky has stopped spitting rain and the roads are drying off :)

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Irene
I still use my really good VCR to capture tapes that are not available on disk or will likely never be released on disk as some of them are really old HBO specials from back near their beginning.

Congratulations on the walking and the clearing out.

    More Humor once again

    Hi
I was out doing some walking this Morning, The temperature this morning was 51 degrees on the porch and 50 degrees on the cable channel. I did wear a sweatshirt and heavier gloves due to the cooler weather.

I did make it to CostCo yesterday for Kleenex, Frozen veges, Fruit and a Chocolate Protein Shakewhich was the only flavor in stock :( I also picked up one of their roast chickens as Protein.

    Have a Great Friday

    Hi Vix
The day is OK looking, The sky is cloudy with no blue showing through.

I am considering going to the Acme grocery store as I just noticed in their flyer that they have Frozen Turkey Breast for under a Dollar a pound and I can put it in the freezer to be cooked later of defrost and cook, portion out and freeze. Does that make me sound cheap or frugal :)

That is the extent of my plans for today unless I feel ambitious and do the laundry today instead of this weekend.

    Cheers

    Hi
I was out doing some walking this Morning + 2 cents. The temperature this morning was 61 degrees on the porch and 62 degrees on the cable channel. I wore a Lighter Long Sleeve shirt and light gloves due to the warmer weather.
While walking I saw two deer on the lawn across from me, I did not see them until they moved, in the dim light they blended in. It appeared to be a Mother and this years fawn by the size.

We've had a position posted for over a week and we've gotten three applicants. That would have been within the first hour last year.

    Hi Irene
If I said I do not sweat day to day variations in weight as they can be water weight or loss depending on what I ate...

12K in steps is great. Currently I have 8500 + and with the walking later on during the tour portion of my day I expect to be good for the day.

It was somewhat humid this morning and a bit of drizzle, Not to bad overall however.

I can take the 40s an 50s it is when it gets down near Zero that I feel it.

Have a Nice and Relaxing Day

I posted some humorous images to complement the joke below :)

    Hi
I was out doing some walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 65 degrees on the porch and 66 degrees on the cable channel.

    A Joke
As most Silver Surfers know – and the rest will soon discover – sometimes we have trouble with our computers.

I had a problem yesterday, so I called Danny, the 12 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over. Danny clicked a couple of keys and solved the problem.

As he was walking away, I called after him, ‘So, what was wrong?’

He replied, ‘It was just a simple ‘ID ten T’.’

I didn’t want to appear stupid, but nonetheless enquired.

‘An “ID ten T”??? What’s that? In case I ever need to fix it again.’

Danny grinned wide…. ‘Haven’t you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?’

    ‘No,’ I replied.

‘Write it down,’ he said, ‘and I think you’ll figure it out.’

    So I wrote down:

    ID10T

I used to like Danny, the little *kitten*.

Started by Mummichog, Wednesday at 03:37 PM
My 2011 Ford F-150 (Coyote 5.0) V8 was running erratically. When giving it half throttle, the power would surge and bog, along with the sound changing. Since I just changed the plugs and wires, I figured it was the air filter. I took it out and drove it the 3 or 4 miles to the auto-zone. Still seemed to bog and surge, same performance. But, when I put the new filter in, it ran smooth as silk. If it was a dirty air filter, wouldn't no filter make it smoother too?
Who Knew that the Air FIter could cause that problem?

    Hi Vix
It is still a gray looking day outside. Today is also the second morning in a row that I was out walking where I was experiencing a lit misty drizzle during the walk.

The forecast high for today is 79, 80 or 81 degrees depending on which TV stations weather forecast You believe :)
Tomorrow is forecast to be much cooler with a high possibility of rain.

I need to do some shifting of things in the basement today to provide access to some of the drain pipes. All our efforts having failed the Plumber is coming tomorrow to clean the drain that handles the Bathtub and Kitchen Sink only. Everything else being OK. There goes some $$$ flying away unfortunately.

    Hi
I was out doing some walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 63 degrees on the porch and 62 degrees on the cable channel.
We must have had some rain overnight, the streets were wet and I got hit by a few stray drops. By the time I returned home the streets are now dry :)

The Plumber is scheduled for 10AM to Noon today to clear the clogged Kitchen / Bathtub drain. All the other drains are OK. As I remember it they both feed a 1.5" to 2" pipe by the back wall of the basement before running to the main drain. Wish Us luck with the cost, I have visions of $$$ flying away :)

    Hi
I was out doing some walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 41 degrees on the porch and 43 degrees on the cable channel. I pulled the Hoodie out of the closet today and I plugged the batteries back into the heated gloves. one ran out 1/2 way through the walk and the other at about 80% of the walk :(
I turned one the heat to test today and since the Main floor was at 62 degrees.

The Plumber was scheduled for 10AM to Noon and arrived around 11:15 to clear the clogged Kitchen / Bathtub drain. All the other drains are OK. the cost was OK, I had visions of $$$ flying away and it was not that bad :)
