Good morning...you're all doing well with the walking.
Jo, 10 hour days are tiring!
My chin is still swollen this morning, but is starting to feel a little better. Skipping the walk this morning, will give myself a few more days to get over the surgery. Will do some light things around the house, maybe go grocery shopping later.
    Happy Friday, everyone. :)

    Hi
I went walking this Morning. The temperature this morning was 58 on the news channel and 56 degrees on the front porch and back yard thermometer.
I stopped at the Grocery Store and picked up some on Sale Sliced Turkey Breast and Sliced Ham to use as a part of my Mid-morning snack. I also saved 12 Cents by using their discount key tag.

    Good morning.
Cooler today, I'm going to enjoy the Fall day.
My face is still swollen, but I'm feeling somewhat better. Went to a nursery yesterday to check out what plants were out. Didn't get to the grocery store so will probably go today.

It was chilly enough that I was glad I wore a LS Sweatshirt rather than my original thought of the thin LS UA Shirt.

I got a hint when I was looking out the window while eating my Banana before walking and saw one of the daily walkers that goes past the house wearing a Hoodie :)

    Hi Irene
Yesterday was not as cold as today so I wore the thin LS UA shirt on Saturday.

I was looking at the the Weather forecast on News12 this morning where later this week they are forecasting a 80 degree day followed by a 81 degree day. I may be running the AC again this week.
I still have not thrown the wall switch to turn on the heat, does that make me cheap ?

    Good morning;
I am also loving this cooler weather. I have not turned the heat either. I actually have had the windows open.
My daughter and I went to a craft fair yesterday. I bought a jar of local honey.
Roger-I wore a light jacket yesterday and was very comfortable.
Vix- Are you icing your face where it is swollen?
Irene-I also bought mums. I have them in pots on the front stairs and on either side of a bench that we have in the backyard.
Today I am going to clean out the pots of summer flowers that are mostly gone by and clean up my flower beds.
I am getting excited to see my son. They will be arriving on the 22nd and staying for 2 weeks.
    Have a good day! :)

I iced my face for the first day and a couple of times the 2nd day. The swelling is going down, it's just slow. My right index finger also swelled up this week...very painful, arthritis. Just took a prescription strength ibuprofin...hope that helps.

    Hi Joanne
I was mostly comfortable in the sweatshirt, Where I feel the cold is in my fingers and less in the legs as I have not changed from walking shorts to walking pants. I have held off as the temperatures are forecast to go up later in the week.

The only thing in pots is the Geraniums and one potted Sage plant. I will likely bring in the flowers when I hear frost in the forecast. Then they will go on the closed in porch until cold weather sets in. That worked last year.

    Enjoy the upcoming visit

It is currently 64 degrees in this room and I am still wearing the Sweatshirt I wore while walking :)

I agree, I hope Vix is good.

I do not have a thermal shirt, OTOH I do put one sweatshirt inside of another one when the weather gets colder for my walking. I also put on a Hoodie. On really cold morning I have Thermal Underpants I can use.

Too cheap to have turned on the heat yet. OTOH I may run it for a few minutes today just to be sure it is ready to go.

Hi, lucky I got an appt with the rheumatologist, my finger was all swollen again this morning. He took some fluid out and gave me a cortizone shot. Then I stopped by the dentist for a quick check, all is ok, going back next week.
    Beautiful weather outside today.
    Happy Thursday. :)
