    Good morning;
We had a light dusting of snow yesterday morning.
I woke up feeling a little under the weather. I went back to bed and when I got up the second time if felt better. We went grocery shopping and then I took it easy for the rest of the day.
Today I am going to start baking my cookies to take to work.
Irene-good luck on the sale of your house.
Have a good day and stay warm. :)

    More humor today

    Hi
I'm back from walking this Morning in a light snowfall, The temperature this morning was 33 on the porch and 33 on the cable channel. Once again the Snow remnants left from yesterday did cause slippery spots on the Sidewalks and Driveway as I was walking :)
What did surprise me somewhat was that on many of the side streets the sidewalks were in better shape for walking than the street. The sidewalks that the town takes care of were all perfect.

    Hi Irene
As I saw it when I went out yesterday morning there was a little over an inch of snow here.
On my return for the walk I shoved off the sidewalk that leads from the house to the driveway since I had done the one to the street the night before, And I also shoveled off most of the driveway and finished that later when I cleaned off the car. The Suns heat such as it was dried off the sidewalks, driveway and car.

You may have had more snow, I think the southern portion and Shore areas got it worse.

    Have a Nice Day

Lucky You, only a dusting of snow. Nice that You felt better, Today we will be setting up the tree :)
We are running a bit late this year. Today is grocery store day for my brother and I am working up a short list for him to pick up for me. I prefer to let him go as despite the store being close he takes 1.5 to 2+ hours as he covers every aisle looking to see if anything catches his eye :)

I guess we are lucky. Did not get any more snow, and none forecast until Christmas. Went to a store yesterday, but it was too crowded. May do some more internet shopping today.
Be careful in the slippery, Roger!
Glad you feel better Jo, have fun baking.

    Hi Vix
I would not be surprised if Spring was the best time to sell, Everything is green and in bloom too.

I refuse to go to Malls this time of year and try and stay out of stores in general from last week until Next Year :)

The footing overall has been OK even with those snows, I had one foot slip once yesterday and once the day before. Today we did have some sort of light precipitation overnight, With the temps yesterday and overnight it was rain and did not cause any slipperiness.

    Enjoy Your massage

It was in the 30s here too 34 degrees to be exact :)
I tried out the replacement heated gloves that came as a warranty item. I actually dresses lighter than for the last two days where it was colder, those days I wore two sweatshirts under my Hoodie...

    Good Luck with the shipping

    Good evening;
I finished baking my cookies this morning and then delivered them to work.
I also had to do another blood glucose curve on Vinny, so I had to be home on the hour.
In between Vinny's blood testing, I ran to the grocery store, CVS and the Christmas tree shop.
Roger-I try to avoid the malls this time of year.
I only ordered one gift on line and it got lost somewhere between leaving the facility and my house. I sent an email and am waiting to hear back from them. If I don't hear back by tomorrow I will cancel the order. I ordered through Amazon, but the product was shipped from another company.
    Have a good evening. :)

    Hi Joanne
I hope the testing on Vinny goes well. My brother goes to the Christmas Tree shop also, It is a little trip out west in a large strip mall and this time of year the place is crazy. Not to mention being off of a Traffic Circle AKA Rotary or Roundabout.

I tend to try and buy on Amazon where the item shows fulfilled by Amazon if possible. Are You sure it even shipped ? I have had items purchased like Yours where the tracking number shows for days before it has tracking information.
    Good Luck with that item.

    Have a Good Day

    Hi Vix
I picked up what I will give locally so far, I am looking through the "Bits and Pieces" Catalog.
bitsandpieces.com to try and find something interesting that can arrive from Amazon to use as a novelty stocking stuffer for my brother and something for a friend. Wish me luck with that, nothing like waiting until the last minute :)

    Hi Irene
I prefer shopping locally where I have the purchase in my hot little hands :)
My brother shipped something yesterday 2 day shipping at the post office and commented that despite the parking lot being full the counter was not that busy, You might get lucky today.

Today was OK walking until the batteries in my heated gloves died, that is what I get for forgetting to charge them, then my fingers got colder than I like.

I hung the last of the decorations the other day, a Lighted Candy cane and a Lighted Snowman in the Living room window where they joined a Non Lighted Christmas Stocking hung there. We don't do lights outside as there is no exterior outdoor outlets for them and I am not thrilled by the idea of wires going through windows or under the front door.

    Have a Nice Day

    Hi Joanne
Well I'm off to CostCo later for frozen vegetables later, I want to be there when they open so I can rush through and be home in time to stop at the dollar store and still have 1/2 off the morning left to do things.
That sounds like good news for Vinny

Good Luck getting the replacement, Amazon usually does a good job at that if needed.

    Hi Vix
I'm sure they will appreciate the tree and butterfly. I like Prime, I suspect that it isn't saving me anything on shipping, Most likely a wash for cost and it does get things here quicker.

More humor is posted, Christmas theme humor :)

    Hi
I'm back from walking this Morning + 1 Cent, The temperature this morning was 26 on the porch and 31 on the cable channel.
I did make it to CostCo yesterday and picked up my Frozen vegetables, I also picked up the cooked Spare Ribs smallest package they had of which I overate some, Kleenex, and a snack pack of Frito Lay that I can work into the NS plan. I left there $64.30 lighter in the Billfold, with a register time stamp of 9:57, Successfully navigated past the Hot Food area without succumbing to temptation and had the Trunk loaded, the Cart returned to the cart area and was starting the car at 10:01. Getting there early pays off IMO.

The laundry is nearly finished washing, My brother says he could use some help making his Chocolate balls treat. That is the sum total I have planned for the today, Wash, dry and fold the Laundry.

    Hi Joanne
Thanks for saying Hi... Or to put it another way, many times no news is good news.

I see that they passed the Tax bill, That more or less surprised me, I gave it a 10% chance. The news here in NJ is full of how the $10,000 property tax limit will hurt house prices and cost homeowners money. That leads me to wonder how much the homes are worth. Are Property taxes that high for You or Vix ? I know Irene living here in NJ knows about taxes in one of the highest tax states in the country.

Roger when we walked this morning it was in the 20s but no wind so it was ok. Jo and vix enjoy your day. Yes Roger our taxes are so high it is unreal
